Where the heck is Merikle?!

Ok I am stumped... I am hellbent on getting the Twin Blaze where it comes from Merikle... Well how the heck do I get Merikle to show up when all I get tossed in my face is Maricarol?! Is Merikle like a rare version of the boss or something? Help! I am getting very frustrated here!

Merikle is a variation or Mericarol that appears mainly in online quests East Tower and West Tower, but also Seat of the Heart, and if you are lucky, Maximum Attack 2.

Merikle and Mericus are online only and only appear in certain quests (East & West Tower and rare in Famitsu).
