If you want to create a thread about music, make it clear by stating first your opinion, your taste on that subject.

Keep spam inside FK.

I like Jazz a lot.

Aerosmith > Everyone.

Lucky me, I get to go to another of their concerts in about a month. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Do Ezellaur and I have to show up and tell you all how much Third Eye Blind rocks?

Or several other people can join us and explain that Oasis owns all other bands?

Third Eye Blind is good, no doubt, but I still prefer Aerosmith.

I stopped "truly" liking Third Eye Blind after Blue.

I haven't heard any of their new stuff tho.

Linkin Park, Trapt, a bunch of older stuff like 80's music. I don't like classical though. Metallica, not their new stuff though. I got a ton of bands but I can't think of them all. Red Hot Chili Peppers are one of my favorite bands of all time though.

Yeah, yeah... I know Blue is over-produced and whatnot. But really, after not listening to it for a year or so, I picked it up again. It's actually really good. I'm listening to it right now! Heh...

Their new album is ok. It's a bit too poppy in places for me. Think of it as inbetween their first and second album. I like it though. Definitely some good stuff. The problem is, I don't think they can make an album that measures up to their first one. It's a work of genius, in all seriousness.

But hey, if the new albums aren't good, just go online and download all their demos. Those rock.

I generally don't really like rock as much as I used to ... *runs*
But when Guntz changed his sig, (out of curiosity) I went and downloaded Train of Thought (Dream Theater) off iTunes. I must say, it's rather nice. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Oh let me think... I have music from these artists:

Aerosmith, Creed, Meat Loaf, Bon Jovi, Lunar 2 soundtrack, Metal Gear Solid theme, Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 tracks, Sephiroth's theme, main PSO theme, Switchfoot...

Actually, most of my music is in copied CDs and I have no way of finding out who created them. Oh well.

I just want to say that the author of this thread rocks for even mentioning Operation Ivy. Probably the best band anyone has listed (In my opinion) on this site. If you dig Op. Ivy then scope the '96 release by the Suicide Machines "Destruction By Definition". It might not be as good as "Energy", but its a worthy record.

Aerosmith? Better than everyone else? You're entitled to your opinion, but I disagree...not that I'm going to drop names on who I think is better.

OPIV is the best band so far mentioned. The worst band mentioned would have to be Tsunami Bomb. They rank up there easily as one of the worst bands to ever strike a chord. However, green day clearly beats any band ever. All 8 of their CDs are excellent, not including the EPs, which are hella good. I own all 8 cds and never regret a second that I listen to them. Suicide machines are also decent.

You speak the truth, my friend (Well mostly, anyway). Well, I still disagree with the statement that TB is the worst band to ever strike a chord, I'd reserve that for a band like Poison. Green Day is very nice, very-very nice.

Um, I wouldn't know which one of them it was! I know that the song I really like starts something like 'ki'ra meh, ku-hoh shiso'ma'. Had it on repeat for aaages, I think it's the background music for the FF:CC trailer.
