i know those, i was asking about the regular ones. Mechgun/Assault/Repeater/Gatling/Vulcan.

OOhhh! Well, then...

Mechguns: Normal Caves
Assult: Normal Mines/Ruins
Repeater: Hard Mines
Gatling: Vhard Caves
Vulcan: Vhard Ruins

Thats where I started finding them

I found a vulcan in a Cave 2 box before with purpleneum in hard mode and happy early bday to both of ya.

What version of the game have you been playing? o_O It's more like this:

Mechgun: Normal Mine 1
Assualt: Normal Ruins 3
Repeater: Hard Cave 3
Gatling: Hard Ruins 2
Vulcan: V. Hard Mine 1

I also found Vulcan in Hard Cave 3, I think it was from Pan Arms but it might have been a box =/

meh, this was in Whitill, not Purplenum

Higher level photon weapons drop as box rares in the lower difficulties.

Any Mechgun is great and useful after a point). At higher levels they are the strongest weapon in the game, even if they add nowhere near the amount of the Yas and Guld Milla, they don't work so well at lower levels though. Not just the Yas 9000M and Guld Milla.
