Need Screenshots

Hmm, I was wondering if someone could get me some screenshots of Pioneer 2 city (the movie where you start Episode I) as it shows Pioneer 2 then zooms into the city where all the hover cars are flying around.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Someone around here as the cinema files on their computer and has taken plenty of screenshots of them. I think its VioletSkye, you might want to pm him or look for the thread that he made about it.

If there are any specific stills you want I can easily get them posted as well since I have the beginning cinema converted to .mpq on my harddrive.

Edit: For some reason, the NiGHTS songs sound incomplete to me. I know it loops at a certain point, but I'm sure it goes on for more than 2 minutes before it does.

Yes the NiGHTS song is incomplete. I recorded the incomplete one from the dream messenger quest, (not knowing it was incomplete) but then i saw some lyrics and found it was way too short. I have all the music ripped and converted to MP3. I still have a few left to post. As for the Nights theme, thats what is on the disk, so thats all there was to convert to mp3. You may be able to find a more complete version if it was on a soundtrack cd or something, but all these files are ripped straight from the actual game disk so thats all I had to work with.

Note that these conversions are of the actual .adx files on the disk and not simply recorded off the tv or something, so the sound is pefect. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I don't think i've heard of anyone ripping them straight off the disk before. *Shrugs* either way it'd be too much effort for me, i just plug my GC into the video capture card for screen shots/video, and i record off the tv for music. The sound quality is still perfect mind, since it goes straight through the headphone socket into my mp3 player and is recorded from there. It's exactly the same quality as if you were listening to it with headphones.

The quality of converting the music to mp3 straight from the .adx file will still be better than using any type of capturing equipment. The sound may still be very good but its not an exact conversion like mine are.

I can also convert any of the sound effects in the game easily to be used on websites or whatever.

lol, theres no need to get competitive about it. And besides, converting file types often results in a loss of quality, so if you record exactly what is heard straight to mp3 then it should give the best audible quality. Even if the theroy doesn't show it to be so, you won't be able to hear the difference between the game and the recording, therefore it is a good as it gets yeah? http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Either way, i'm sure both our mp3s are of perfect quality. Except that i don't bother recording off pso anymore anyway, i just find a site that has done it for me. If i really needed lots of the pso music then i'd just buy the soundtrack rather than go to all that trouble, plus it'd be offical.

But the nights theme i'm talking about is from the nights soundtrack, not from pso, so it's the full thing.

Your theory is totally flawed but thats ok lol. if you are happy with the quality and like I said, I'm sure its good, then all is well. Conversions of this type (converting .adx to mp3) result in NO loss of quality whatsoever just so you know (I also have an MP3 player that will record straight to Mp3 through a capture card and when you digitally analyse it, you see there is a visual loss of quality but not enough to make a difference to the ears http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif ) As for the Nights theme, I figured it was from the Nights game originally and not PSO LOL. Personally I don't care for most of PSO's music anyway, but there were a few songs that I liked so thats why I posted them. I'll also be posting some sound bundles for anyone interested. Basically they will be zip files containing all sorts of different sounds, for example I have all the Photon Blast sounds converted so I'll do a bundle with just those.
