interesting. SEGA miscalculated for the leap year and some people may see messed up play times and won't be able to get online.

if you see things like 9999:59 hours for new characters, and slightly less than normal play time for old characters, then your character is affected.

you also won't be able to go online if you are affected.

if you are affected or want to read more, here's the link:

craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap... I don't want to have to restart my main character...............

::reads the thing:: wew
I think that needs to be out of a link:

"User fix
Users who have problems with their time display should take the following steps to fix the issue:

1) Change clock time on your GameCube* to 23:55, February 28, 2006.
2) Start PSO I&II, select problem character, start the game and wait.
3) When time passes 0:00, March 1st, 2006, display will become normal.
4) After confirm normal time display, save game and end your playing session.
5) Change the time/date on your GameCube back to the actual time. "

now I gota fix two of my characters later... darn..

I figured out that you can do the fix for more than one character at a time and if you have enough controllers, all 4 on a GC memory card at a time.
(Unless you already knew that http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif )

Just enter the time on the GC menu and select 2+ characters to sit around in the game until the time passes and your characters' play times are back to normal. You probably don't have to wait in the Pioneer 2 ship as well. Go ahead and fight some enemies or arrange items or feed a mag since you got five minutes to spare while the clock resets your times.

I don't know anything about the XBOX version of PSO Ep. I & II or if its even affected. I'll go look around PSOW now for that info.
