I'm sure there's a guide for this somewhere, so if you could just kindly point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

I took a pretty nice snapshot in PSO today, and I really really wanna get it on my computer. I downloaded PSO Proxy so I could transfer it, but I have no idea how to use it. Just so you know, I'm not stupid, I have a router and all the prerequisits to transfer pictures, so don't bother asking that stuff. Thanks in advance.

PSO PROXY (http://psoproxy.sourceforge.net/) click on the Documentation link. Or I guess you can go directly HERE (https://sourceforge.net/docman/display_doc.php?docid=14681&group_id=70811) lol.

basically if your pc and GC can be on the net at the same time (non ICS), just open the network options in PSO and go to the Proxy settings page. Enter your PC's IP and use 8080 for the port number. Then run PSO Proxy on your PC and on then on GC to go to the Website. And click to enter the website, it will then connect you to your pc and allow you to upload the pic.

I personally think the PSO Proxy tutorial they have posted is rather wordy and it confuses some people. There are much easier ways to explain how to use it LOL.

Why do you say non ICS? I use PSO Proxy using ICS just fine.

You misunderstood my comment, I know perfectly well that PSO Proxy works with ICS, however the process I described was for a non ICS setup. Why would you think that I am unaware that it works with ICS, I gave him the link for Christ's sake so I'm pretty sure I know whats on the webpage. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Without getting into a whole technical discussion, if you had read my comment you would have seen that I was specifically explaining a non ICS setup which means not having to mess with the IP and subnet mask in the Network options for PSO. Ergo, I said "NON ICS". That is not the same as saying ICS won't work, which it obviously will.

But an ICS pso proxy set up doesn't require any alteration to IP or subnet mask, it's a DHCP connection.

erm, so it dosent matter if the proxy is on if you connect using ics?
I dont have a router or anythin so im just wondering.
If it does effect it how do i turn proxy off?

Also if im setting up ics between my comp and my gamecube will this wire be ok? its a crossover wire i think, not too sure though.
