So what class is your avatar gonna be?

As we all know (or should know) by now, Character Class/Sec ID has no affect on gameplay, and you can have multiple decks for one character (25 to be specific).

so, what class, and section ID (if you're going for a specific one) are you going to be, and why (if there is a special reason)?


i'm going to be a pinkal FOnewm, named Mr_Special or something along those lines. I like FOnewms, and i find pinkal matches my character's design, plus it was a good sec id for forces. so mostly i'm going with this because it was my first character and i liked it. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

later on i might make another "avatar"; for a different look, and to have a different record. a RAmar, cuz i like their masks. i'm just wondering if there will be any way to change outfits, like we could in previous versions.

heh heh, I know what you mean, i made a FOmarl and abandonned her at 40-something, i just didn't find their specialties too great. although one of the coolest people i met on PSO liked FOmarls...

anyway, are you actually a "gurl", cuz if you're not, you know what kind of people your gonna run into online, especially now that its just an avatar http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

'course, i don't mean to discourage anybody from using female avatars, cuz there are a couple of reasons that make the female avatars better than (and not even to) the male avatars.

Do note that each avatar has it's own collection of cards, and each Hunter's License shares it's Online rank (not W/L record of course, but the 10000:Rookie record). So making a new avatar isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Still nice to get off the lobbys (after using the same character for nearly ever) using a different avater, also you could theme your avaters decks and have like a specific type that you use fot that avater.

i knew the card were seperate, but i didn't know the ranks are shared accross the HL :/

Yes, you could theme your Avatars. But you'd best hope that when entering a tournament that you don't run into a deck that you would rather use another counter-deck for. That and in order to make a deck, you need the cards on each one, which means getting at least 3 more of each card.

And you need 1 card on you at all times, only the second and on can be traded. So you're not going to be shuffling around decks easily without a LOT of time spent on your character.

Bottom line is, you're likely going to be creating one character and using that single character for the rest of your Ep3 carreer. Well, other than the dummy character you create to go Reiz bashing on Multi 2P that is.

I ran with my HUmar for along time back in the DC and ep 1-2 days in the cube tried the ramar in the xbox version now its time for the FO so ill stick w/ the FOmarl even do it doesnt really matter ^.^'

I used my main character since always.

I think I won't start another avatar until I get all cards or all that I can get. For now I don't feel like wating time lving another char when my main still needs a lot.

Just to let you know, you unlock the Dressing room when you beat the FINAL (not just one boss) Bosses, in other words, beat Hero, and go on the Arkz boss. You will go against 2 bosses. The last one is easy.

Hmm... Well my first one is a Oran RAmarl in my standard costume named Blitz. I will most likely choose something else, most likely male, as another. Probably a RAmar with the beard and make it skyly. Either that or anoher Wai Lin.
