I was online with PSO for a good long time with my trusty Modem Adaptor... then my parents went evil and decided to change our Internet-stuffs (How very technical-termmed http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif) and now I need a BBA.

But before I buy this BBA, is there anything I should know about setting it up? I mean, that's different then a modem adaptor.

this is a pretty loaded question lol. Most times all you need to do is plug it in and you're all set. However there are so many factors involved that its impossible to say what you may expect without knowing more info like:

Who is the ISP
What type of Broadband is it (Cable, DSL, Satellite.)
If DSL what type of connection is it PPPOA or PPPOE?
How are you planning on connecting (Direct connect, Router, Hub or ICS?)

Comcast users often times have to call and register the BBA MAC with Comcast so that the DHCP server will assign it an IP.

Not quite sure, as I've said, I have no idea of what I'm doing. But if I could get a direct connection working that'd be great http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif
