This is my week (as in a week's time) for finding the real Agito. Less than a week ago, after slaying a total of 98 rare enemies between Pinkal Pals and Whitill Mils, the 48th Pinkal Pal Rappy finally coughed up an elusive Agito.

After struggling for so long to get one of them to drop an Agito, the unexpected happens. So it's Tuesday night, Excecutor and I were doing our quasi-nightly Bluefull Heat Sword run in search of an Imperial Pick, Agito, Heaven Punisher, and a Holy Ray with hit. First room, first wave of Bartles, a Gae Bolg (tekked to 25 hit) dropped. We joked about it while killing off the Barbles and the two waves of Tollaws. Then suddenly, through the chaos, we spotted another red box. So it's gotta be a Photon Drop, because of course I have a curse where nothing valuable will ever drop while someone is playing with me. But lo and behold, there's a blade ?Special Weapon sitting on the ground. Now I know another Bartle didn't drop another Gae Bolg, and Barbles drop a Guilty Light, so my eyes went totally buggy. Picking it up, of course my RAmarl couldn't equip it. So I compared the stats to that of the Gae Bolg (which she also can't equip), and sure enough they were completely different. This was indeed another real Agito.

OMFG, we just found an Agito off a Tollaw! But more so than that, the curse had been broken! I've found an item of value with someone else helping out. I no longer have to fear not finding anything playing with friends. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks to Excecutor for allowing me to keep the Agito. I now own every Agito and, in fact, every findable katana in the game. All I need to complete my katana collection are the S-ranks: Toy Hammer, Harisen Battle Fan, S-rank Harisen, and S-rank J-Blade. All in due time. =^.^=

Two 1975auw is great I spent a 1000hrs searching for that beut on the DC to complete my collection. Since then though GC has cursed me never to see a single Katana drop.

I think I'm going to give up piping from now on and look for my 11 stars from "common" critters like Tollaws and Baranz, Syncesta time. I wonder if anyone has found 2 syncestas from Baranz' before... I can give it a go, that'll be something to boast about. If I find another syncesta without piping I will have a legit Double Cannon without piping for a single part.

I like looking for items normally because it's good exp and I like looking for regular ??? weapons with hit.

but i know how you feel though. it just seems like so many multiplayer runs end without any decent rares...

but at least theres exp getting and getting to hang out with buddies! thats part of the fun too!

I let you have that MKB after a fasion, and the S-Red's don't count because I already had a bunch before we found those. The curse was about items I actually wanted/needed. But regardless, the curse is broken. Happy happy joy joy!

I do prefer to find my own stuff. And I do love Challenge mode. But I'm not a big fan of ep2 C-mode so far. It's kinda annoying. The stages are too long and without the randomness of ep1 C-mode it gets repetitive quickly. Right now I'm only planning on getting four S-rank Needles: Jellen, Zalure, King's, and Gush. I'll get Needle, Scythe for sure, Launcher, Swords, Cards, Fist, Axe if I feel like it, and if, like Vulpes mentioned, Ep2 C-mode is not too boring and annoying.

Having tested some Ep2 S-Ranks myself, they are hardly worth it.
