oran forces

is Oran an ok id for a force? i want to be able to find the PoM, plus canes are found by all classes, my friend is bluefull and finds alot of rods, and i hate wands so that doesnt matter.

You'll find decent force stuff in most ID's. I like oran for my fomarl. Good pipeable stuff, and nice episode 2 to look for crap in.

and plus, oran gets the easiest star amplifier (unless you're me) to make twinkle star with.

IMO, Bluefull, Purplenum, Pinkal, Oran, and Yellowboze all work well for FOs.

to me the best ID for Human Forces is Whitill, especially FOmarl.

And yeah, Oran is very good for forces.

You would question someone who has spent countless hours staring at rare drops and item param data? Whitill is lacking in the FO weapon department, so I don't consider it to be all that much of a FO ID.

How do you know that I haven't had a Whitill in the past? I've made many characters, most of which you don't know about. Also, I don't need to experience the ID to see what drops and how easily it's going to drop.



Whitill is an excellent ID for Melee FOs, very likely the best.

Alot of IDs would work for hybrid FOs. Whitill is lacking in stuff that could be useful for them.

Yes, Oran would be a pretty good for a FOrce ID. It finds Prophets of Motav exclusively. This is a very powerful and generally overlooked weapon. It's better than a Pwand in certain situations. (IE you're playing with a FOmar or FOnewearl). And for melee FOrces, you can also find the Twin Chakram, which are okay daggers...

I've looked over Oran's item findings, though, and it's actually not a great stand-alone HUnter ID. It doesn't find ANY double sabers, other than the basic one and Stag.

EDIT: Er, it can also find the Lavis Cannon and Syncesta, and can make the Double Cannon, which is a great Double Saber. I suppose the Oran Lavis drop is kinda absurd though...

As long as it's not as rare as Pinkal's Psycho Wand...

Yeah right... Experience beats everything, you know that.
Most common drops are L&K and DoB, both VERY useful weapons to Melee FOs.
