Signatures and copyrights

I was wondering, since the site stipulates that all images here are copyrights of Sonic Team, if it is necessary to show the copyright mention in a snapshot used in a signature.

Example :

both sigs are over the size limit, it's just for my example

we put that up at the bottom because of sega's policy. your sig is up to you but sega prefers that you keep the tag on

Hmmm, if Segs knows that we're taking screenshots and uploading to PC, then they'd know about the USB card. If they konw about the usb card, then they should know about the duping.
Why aren't they doing anything about that ?!!

On the other hand, the character design, mag, etc are all made by Sega, they should keep the copyright thingy on it.

I do not use USB mem card to upload snapshots.

Are screenshots even copyrightable (is that a word?) like that? After all, it's the user that makes them (even if it is with PSO software).
