View Full Version : Something Unusual

Alright today me and my friend Charlie went through the Ultimate Seabed. When it was time to fight Olga Flow we went back to the lobby to stock up on supplies and he gave me a Red Hand Gun to use since he told me that if we both use red weapons he would drop The Flow Gene.

Well after A WHOLE ENTIRE HOUR Olga Flow fell over like a sack of potatoes. We exited and then we returned back into the room where we fought Flow. Well right then and there some sort of figure came into view and did some sort of pipe thing or something and disapeared. We looked throughout the field looking for a red box anywhere. Nothing. No red box at all.

This brings me to the question of what was up with that figure if it didn't drop us anything?!

I do not think it can be possessed legitly at all...

According to this info there is no way to obtain it.

Well, I don't know about the ominous figure but I can tell you that the whole red weapon thing is a myth, like the idea of having every red weapon in your inventory at the time when Olga Flow is killed. Many people believe that since the red weapons spell out "Heathcliff", it will cause Olga to drop his genes. This has been discussed many times before, ST just set Olga's drop rates to 0%, in other words, he'll never drop the gene "flow" even though he is set to drop it. Hope I didn't confuse you.

that "figure" you saw was Heathcliff Flowen's spirit. he can only be seen in multi-mode if at least one player hits Olga with a Red weapon at least once and keeps it equiped, then if you go back there Flowen will stand there, if you get too close he will dissapear.

and, the Parasitic Gene "Flow" is unobtainable legitly.

the figure is "Heathcliff Flowen" the guy you're sent to go rescue in ep2. Just like Red Ring Rico, he appears after using special weapons on him. there's a guide or a forum on that somewhere in here

You can see flowen after olga flow any time you want online. He will never drop the gene, because ST never activated the drop, and probably never will, because of it mass dupedness and ease of obtainment currently.

um, yea the figure is Flowen and is seen once piping back (or after you kill him) after killing him using a red weapon..

Edit: Ryuzaki00: I was in the reply when you posted, oh well

the only way to see Rico is with a Dark Flow/Bridge/Meteor which can only be obtained with a Parasitic Gene "Flow" that cannot be obtained legitly. boy, ST is smart, arn't they?

A HAH!

Ok, confirmed! Yes, I just fought olga many different time with all kind of weapons. So NO there is no way to obtain parastic gene "flow" from olga flow! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_yes.gif

also something else that was weird is that half of Olga Flow's attacks in the first stage weren't doing anything to us. we thing it's because we were using Flowen's Shield

You can get it offline now...though most people (including me) still don't think it's legit to force a drop off flow...

There is a way to get one, same with the Red Ring, but me and my friend have yet to try it out to see if it works. If it does, will, the Gene is going to spread like hot cakes. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Even if you are going to use the gene unlegitly it will still have to meet certain diffcult conditions...

Hacked, but we (my friend and I) want to try this trick...we will tell it later, even if it doesn't work...we just want the legit one, so we can feel like we really earned it...like most players...

(using the gene?)

What doesnt work?

(the gene?)

I personally refuse to say either way about the drops of these items.

Since the whole legit comunity claimed that you could not unlocked the sealed J sword until a quest or something came out and that turned out to be untrue

Well, it is a trick, by using a telepipe before going in, kill the boss to its final form, kill it, then equip a weapon that steals health like the Soul Eater, die, and go back...then it should be there, along with the boss...if it doesn't work, then I told it wrong... http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif Curse my bad memory...

It would still be 50+ to 1 to drop.

It's worth a try...

I've never seen any evidence that that trick to get the gene/red ring works. Infact the guy that originally posted it at the pso cheats forums said he got a Red Ring from Dark Falz using an Oran character. And as any smart person would know, Oran gets Rico's Glasses from Dark Falz.

And besides, even if it did work, using a trick to force a non-findable item to drop would be cheating and make that item no better than the dupes of hacks that you can get online.
