Offline Free Battle Ranks

In offline free battle vs. I've gotten two S ranks but both times only got N rarity cards. My question is; Can you only get common cards in free battle no matter what your rank is?

BTW I tried looking in the guides but couldn't find anything.

Once again, rank has absolutly nothing to do with the type cards you get.
