PSO EpIII

Sunday. I finally got EpIII after school and rushed home to try it out.

*sigh*

The new generation of assholes has arrived.
I remake mty character to be near identical to my I&II one
and go to Altair 04-01
Auracom and Sam are busy, so I try meeting new people.
24:US/Antares:08-C1
Most crowded group of pure idiocy I've ever seen.
A few kids start spamming and I said "..." a few times.
They start bitching about me being a noob, telling me that "..."
means silence.
-_-; is only for Otakus, and I'm not a [deleted]
Capital letters flooded the screen, usual 13 year old cussing, blablabla
And the Wail!(female), along with the slap sound (never figured out what it was called) thingy was spammed a lot ...

I knew antares 8 was a crowded place for most people,
but it never sucked this bad even before I left...

Oh, and that's one more thing...
The dice thingy's totally rigged !!
(I play with min 1 max 6)
I got a atk 6 and def 6
about 8 times in a row, then it went down to 4s and 2s. -_-;

On the bright side ...
EpIII has very very nice graphics. ^_^
and I like the new introduction.

I'll be in Mintaka 02 or back on I&II for anyone who's looking for me.

I, too have the same experience. My brother bought EP3 a week ago and was so happy to play it. But I never liked it because it looked pretty stupid with the turn base thing. So after a week my bro said it was REALLY bad so he gave up on playing on it. Or at least he wants to give up on it. So really depends on what type of game people like. I can't get away from EP 3 myself, once I stay away from jerks. For the past 2 days I been hanging around the quietest place on the servers and played with a few friends against COM or each other while laughing our head off of each person's horrible dice.

The game is deep. It involves a little too much strategy even. It rockz.

I dont think it was a new generation of assholes that bought epIII but the old generation of degenerates that used to play epII, which is great news cause i find it easier to meet quality players now.

I'm addicted to EPIII way worse then any previous PSO installment addiction.

I'm not sure if it's the tournament ranking--or just an entirely new way to kickit' on Ragol...but I've logged 32 hours worth of play in 2 days.

If I had the time...I would still play EP I & II; because I would imagine going from take-turn strategy to the hack'n'slash would be like nastalgia all over again.

In closing:

Tell more people to buy EPIII...the tourneys rule and the strategy of the game has added a lot (for me anyways).

I don't know much about Ep3, having just played offline single battles with Hikara once or twice, but I thought it was a great game. It's nice that a game challenges you mentally instead of worrying about hidden tricks or not being able to see exactly wtf that enemy's got up his sleeve. If you want to actually think to win a game, play Ep3. If you want to fight until you run away to heal, play EVERY OTHER game (except Eternal Darkness).

Old Generation and Long living Spammers took over the throne again... There is already complaints filed to ST against Billie Joe and Hayato.

Problem is Billie Joe is easier to get banned over Hayato since he's been in tourneys and wreaks havoc spam against higher rank players. Hayato is a huge humar in black and talks racist everyday on popular ships and communities (the only one perhaps) who is somewhat up there with Billie. The 2 things about Hayato is the fact that...
1) He also plays on the US ver... (someone elses GC?)
2) He is surrounded by many small purple Hayatos.

I think they are the wierdest of people I have ever encountered.

But! I dont agree, i think it will be good. I play MTG and occasionaly yu-gi-oh, they're fun. There's so much more stragetgy than in an epi 1 + 2 style game. In epi 1 + 2, it was all about your stats, if you had higher stats, or bigger techs, then you won, plain and simple. I like the kind of game where a good player with bad whatever (deck, character...etc) can thrash a bad player with a good one.

On the other hand, i am getting a bit worried about the lack of new things in epi 3. For instance if there are only monster cards for all the monsters in epi 1 + 2, then there really isn't going to be enough for much distinction between players. And i keep seeing all sorts of guides for good decks, mainly here, i think that's wrong in a card game, part of the winning is designing your own killer deck! On top of that, it seems to me that red slimes are cheap ways to win, like i said i don't have it yet so i don't know, but i also think you can't have one card that rules supreme over everything else. You have to have all sorts of cards that work together.

Anyway that's just me... personally i can't wait 'til epi 3, but i almost murdered the person next to me when i found out the release date, JULY?!?! Gah!
