Question about making a Sato

I am making a Sato mag for my force and I was wondering, is it possible to make so it has 50 def 50 mind when it evolves into a sato? thank you.

yes you can!
DEF + DEX = POW + MIND
so have dex & pow = 0, will meet the requirement

Is it recommended to have all def and mind for your mag if you're not going to use melee at all?

well it would help because during a boss fight you will take damage because it is impossabe to evade a boss.
(yes I know not IMPOSSABLE just hard to do.)
