Thats the first time you fight Falz in PS4, on the Kuran spacestation.

Nobody here cares probably, but this my friends is a screengrab taken after my first run through Kuran in three years. And fighting the boss without all of the nifty treasures (I picked them up the second run through the ship, most of em anyway. I did grab some on the first trip through.)

Falz got owned. And it was semi-tough too... I have literally no TP on the characters, though Raja's Antaraxia helped later on.

And thanks to PSO, I knew early in the game what Gelun did, along with Deban and Rever. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif Though, since I don't have Hahn, I can't use Gelun. Only Rika's Deban.

People, if you haven't played this game, it ROCKS. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif Acquire it somehow and play it... RPG Nirvana.

EDIT: HUnewearl_Meira, any tips on getting through Air Castle? I used guides last time I played PS4, but any suggestions on what spells to use and what level I should be at? I'm at about level 27 across all characters... I think I need new armor though.

I started playing that game... but then through crazy save-state time travel, my file dissappeared X_X It's alright though... I've seen most of the game and the end of it anyway...

The game is beautiful - I still adore the music.

The Air Castle was one of my favorite parts of PSIV. Even if the boss was a bit easy (I thought).. I still loved seeing a grudge match 2,000 years in the making being played out to it's bitter finale. I really hope he's not dead. The guy you fight in the Air Castle is one RPGdom's greatest villans.. and it would be great to have to have him play a bigger part in a future game.

Can't wait to see what the new PSIV remake does with those scenes in full 128 bit 2-D glory.

Seriously, to anyone reading this thread who has NOT played PSIV - do it now. Buy the remake later when it's released stateside (if it's released stateside).. but still go play the game now. It's a true gem of the 16 bit era. While Phantasy Star has always been superior to FF's of it's time in the gameplay department - they weren't as polished and didn't have huge and intricate stories behind them. PSIV, definately, is on the same level of storytelling as ChronoTrigger and FFVI - with one of the best gameplay engines around and no expense spared to the polish.

It truely is a masterpiece of the 16 bit generation in every sence of the word.

I must say... 4 is easily the favorite of the original series. No other game in the original series goes through so much trouble to portray the story so vividly.

Still, I have to say that 2 is my favorite. Though it's not quite as articulate, the story, in my own opinion is rather superior, and ends in bittersweet tragedy.

I would implore the folks here to play the whole series, not just 4. 4 is great, but the impact is much greater if you know the history ahead of time.
