No, the only characters you can use in battle are story characters, not your avatar for the lobbies and the Morgue/R-Base.

I'll say yet again though that this is a GOOD thing. One, play balancing every class and type of character for special abilities would be a huge chore, and two, this means that with 1 character slot, you can use 24 different play styles based on existing archetypes. It may be a minor loss not to use your character on the planet, but it's a win in the long run.

Yeah, that bothers me. -I- didn't do anything, Ino'lis/whoever did. 9_9;

And who actually -uses- all the story characters? People will find a couple of favorites and stick to them exclusively and the rest will be ignored, just like on Ep1&2 where people had favorite character classes they liked. I've already stated how using your own character could be done without completely breaking the game(Story mode would need to be somewhat re-worked, but other than that)... *shrug* Much like no matter how you play your HUmar in Ep1&2, he's always going to be at base a HUmar, and he's stuck with those stats. Ok, your Ep3 HUmar is a HUmar, and always has Orland/Endu's ability sets, depending on if you were using an Arkz or Hunters deck. *shrug* That way you still always know what you're up against. E/S/SS cards could be moved around characters and memory cards registered under the same serial number and access key, and only offline. Again, just stating how it -could- have been done.

You actually will HAVE to use all the S-characters if you want to finish all the characters' quest (which gives you something me thinks). Which is kinda cool because having to use someone you'd rather not, make you appreciate their ability. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Unless it just plain sucks. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

And I meant outside of storymode. Am I ever going to use *insert character I don't use here* outside of having to in storymode? ...Uh, well, no, not really, unless I have some sudden brilliant flash of insight as to how to make some killer deck for them that someone probably did to death three months ago. *shrug* It's like Ep1&2. Sure, some people get three memory cards and have one of each character, but most stick to 1 or 2 cards and a few classes they like. *shrug*

Silly, I like him...
Thought it would be great if he had less -HP...

Because that Elude ability helps...but they need to get rid of that big swing thing...that forces you to get a good roll.http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Personally, I don't really like Guykild...I prefer playing any character to him (I think anyway, havent tried a few yet).

Guykild is a great character, as in with the others, it's all in how you play him. If he didn't have the -5HP and Big Swing, he'd be so incredibly overpowered it wouldn't even be funny. How many times have people won a game against a Hunter by purely just breaking their weapons and causing them -1HP each time? Or just the final few times, to just bearly kill them? With Guykild, that worry doesn't come into play, as he'll never lose HP due to his weapons being destroyed.

I use Glustar and wipe out most people in Vega with Razonde and Rabarta and other spells I have obtained.
Easy way to level..I'm level 7 online.
