Ever notice their descriptions? They imply that they should have newer counterparts, so where are they? http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

And are the Yasminkov guns based on REAL designs?

Edit: Their shells shoot out backwards too. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_mad.gif

Yeah. What's up with that? Maybe there's a secret one. Or could there be one in Ep.3 we don't know about?

And what do you mean by the shells shooting out backwards? When they pop out at the player? I'm not that educated on guns.

No, he means when the gun is shot, the bullet covers flies out of the gun backwords.

As in towards your character? Which way would be backwards? Sorry, I'm rather dense today. Used my brain for something else. Maybe I need to go look at one when I get a chance to play GC.

I think it flies towards you. Not sure, kind of forgot, actually it flies somewhat side ways.

The guns eject the shell casings away from the character. To the side mostly and maybe a little backwards.

...... maybe he means that the shells that are ejected are backwards as in the area the projectile comes from is facing your char?

you are firing this way < but the shell comes out as if you fired this way >.

is that it?

No, I do not think they are real designs. Because they don't look really real. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I thought they might have been based off real designs. I'm not sure where I got that idea though.

I looked everywhere, including google, unless it is some top secret gun that would be not reveled to the public, but not most likely, because how would PSO have those weapons then? http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

It's SonicTeam. They do, what they do.

Maybe the Yasminkov is just there to perplex players like ourselves?

its there to make you ask questions http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

and if there was a "real Yasminkov" PSO World would know.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you, the Yasminkov 7000V with a thingy on the back.

SPAS-12

The Yasminov 2000H is based on the Falcon Magnum I think...
Lemme research.

Here's one without the thing on the back. This thing has to be the base of the Yasminkov7KV.

The Yas 2k is a SOCOM, Yas 3k is odd, Yas 7k is a SPAS-12, and Yas 9k appears to be an uzi of some sort. I'm not too educated on different models of guns, but I'm sure that they're based on something.

Add a laser guide and scope and you've got your Yas.

Just noticed.. From the card art in EpIII, the Yasminkov9KM has no triggers. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

RAmarl 1337ness. How the rest of the RAs use it, I dunno.

Now I must get one of these things, make a RAmar costume and wear it to an anime convention and see how quickly I get kicked out for bringing real weapons. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Oddly enough the Yasminkov 3000R looks like a rifle version of the Tommy Gun, aka Thompson Submachine Gun. But the bolt is the thing that messes it up, that and there is no clip in the front. The bolt itself reminds me of the Luger. I'll get some pictures and post them in a bit.

That is the Luger, in various forms.

http://img14.photobucket.com/albums/v41/blitzkommando/m1a1.jpg
And this is the Thompson Submachine Gun.

http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif best explanation I could think of, too.

AND, I saw a person at Otakon last year Dressed as a RAcaseal! I'm not sure what it was made of, but she had a big spread type weapon http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

That's how the Psychoguns works and that's why droids can't use them.

The descriptions mentions "newer counterparts". That just means that the yas are vintage versions of shots/mechs/rifles. The newer counterparts are the normal ones you see in pso.

Hah, their ad is wrong. XD It is Sporting Purpose Automatic Shotgun - 12 Gague. If you want to see one just go to your nearest U.S. Military base. At least one of the gate guards has one. And are quite powerful guns. The stock folds for the insertion of new shells and must be pumped between shots. One of the best examples of the SPAS-12 is in Half-Life with the High-def pack installed. Or you can always watch Terminator. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Someone I know that knows guns quite well, describes the models as relating to these:

The 2K looks like a modified Glock. The 3K looks like an early rifle. It's definitely NOT a Winchester, but somewhere around that area. The 7K is an almost direct knock off of the SPAS-12.

And for the 9k, he says it looks like a MAC-10 (http://www.securityarms.com/20010315/galleryfiles/orig/mac10.htm).

Is it just me, or did anyone else noticed that little aim is required with all of the Yasmikovs?

Might just be a problem with the targeting (i.e., you can shoot sideways/hit enemies ten miles away).

Anyway, ST might have just randomly designed the weapons. There's enough guns in the world that almost any concept would look like another.

the 7000 is definatly like that, it's like a shotgun really. It would be cool if it could hit multiple enemies.

Here's a good candidate for 9KM.

What Uncle mean by the shells being backwards...they shoot OUT of it in the right direction, but the SHELLS themselves are backwards. Meaning the actual SHELL itself is backwards.

And yea, that Spas gun looks a lot like the 7k except it lacks the thingy (dunno the name) on top of the gun that rolls back to eject the shells. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_yes.gif

Well, the Yasminkov7000V does have the tendency to aim toward the nearest enemy but Uncle never noticed the other Yassies to do that.
