I'm sure I'm not the ONLY person here who doesn't have ANY character who you work on at present.
I had it for the DC but when I discovered GC doesn't REQUIRE broadband (which isn't available where I live...crappy island http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif) I just HAD to play again.
I am currently saving for a GC, PSO keyboard and 56k adaptor.
I hope to have a character set up by the 3rd of april because that's when I'll be getting my gamecube..and I've already ordered pso and adaptor http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

so...if you don't have a character for some reason or another, what's the story http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

most people who don't have a character is because they lost/don't own the game or corruption

I'm scared now because my mem card every now and then when I put it in says Memory card corrupted.
I pull it out and put it in again and it works.

that kinda happend to me once... i had my card in and the game came up with that agreement thingy that you see if there is no PSO file on the card. i then found out that my card wasnt in the slot all the way, the GC couldnt find it http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Sounds like something bad might be happening soon - you never know when it comes to electronics

Sounds like something a third party cube memory card would do. If it's not... then it's messed up

Yeah, I know someone who has no characters. They used to have eight. Two of 'em were at 128 I think. Then kablam, GC(hook-ups, everything) and the game were stolen. It's MegamanX by the way.

You'd be surprised how many people stay on a message board long after they loose intrest in the main subject of the board.

And then they go to FKL...

I've had the game for over a year and I only have 3 characters (I've lost one to corruption though), I just don't have that much time to play...

You're charters can't be saved but if you want to save you're weapons find out how to dupe and put them on another memory card for safty. You could also just give all you're weapons to it bu that way you have it.

I have a friend who's really into hacking the gamecube and crap, and he told me he knows of a way to save all of your memory card information - not just pso but everything else - onto the hardrive of your computer. Unfortunately, it requires a USB memory card (has like 10,000 blocks on it) to be able to do this. If you get corrupted, you can just take the saved memory card files on your computer and put them back into your memory card. But he never really told me exactly how to do it, so I can't provide any real help. Sorry.

On topic, when I first played PSO only my friend had the game among like 6 of us, so we all used to go over to his house and play it there. I got a HUcast up to level 33, but then I got my own copy, and the story goes on from there...
