Robed melee-fighter's diet, and robotic defensive gear...

Okay, two questions.

1. What should my FOmar's mat diet be like? He's more or less 100% melee. I'm not worried about maxing his stats, or whatever. I just want him to have good stats. I'm thinking, a good bit into Luck, Defense, and Power. Maybe some Magic, so I can use that nice Holy Ray. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

2. Since I'm gonna make a HUcaseal soon, I should get her some nice stuff. Now, I've heard people mention how useful the S-Parts ver.2.01 are. I'd imagine, since they add a free 15 ATA over max. Free God/Arm anyone? Anyway, what's the droprate like? 1. I wouldn't suggest the Defense mats... a good Deband/Jellen will protect you quite nicely, along with a decent frame. You can use those extra materials for Pow/Luck http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

2. I don't know much about the S-Parts, but I know they don't add 15 ATA to your base, they add it to the weapon, so it's not like getting to equip a Red Handgun with your base ATA at 125, then adding S-Parts. Still useful though for hittin the enemies.

Okay, you're right...I will use a few DFP mats (I've already used 1) just to even things out a bit, but then I'll use an equal amount of Pow and Lck Mats. Then, a few Mind mats to fill the gap.

Are you sure about that? Someone reliable said that the S-Parts ver.2.01 added 15 ATA over max...I dunno. Even if it adds to the weapon, that's still useful. 15 extra ATA is very nice. Too bad this thing is gonna be painful to hunt. >.<;

hmm very good choice those were my last 2 characters for fomar melee all the way still with some magic like you said to use a few good things and for hucaseal which is my current character get some common 4 slot armors then the first good rare thing i used was stink frame and secret gear s parts is good but not really for defense but the good 15 ata bonus and when you turn 76 equip your d-parts which is awesome for defense plus 35 extra atp http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif and from there on do whatever you want, btw thats what i did and im doing great so just giving you suggestions good luck

It's a 10-Star Rare Shield...that comes from Normal Gilchichs. Yes, it's going to be very fucking painful. Not as bad as D-Parts, though. I'm not gonna bother with those. Hard mode Bulclaw? Haha, hell no. I'll either get them in a trade, or get a Stink Frame and use a God/Power.

Oh, and Supah Chao, how does this sound for my FOmar's mat diet? 11 Defense, 45 Luck, 97 Power, 97 Mind. What do you think? You can change it as you see fit, but I've already accidently taken 1 Defense Material.

Yeah, I figured that'd be a good Material diet. Maxed Luck with no */Luck unit, and a hefty boost to Attack and Magic. Small boost to Defense to boot.

OH, MY GOD! 1/10,639!!! That's insane! I'm still gonna try for one. My FOnewearl should have no trouble Zonding her way through Normal mines over...and over...and over again...

Really, so Oran can pipe a Flowen's Shield?...Spiffy. I've been kinda wanting one, just becuase they look DAMN cool. A bit like a tiny, high-tech Kasami Bracer...

But anyway, I've decided to make my Oran character a FOnewearl, from Ian's suggestions. HUcaseal will be Purplenum. I just need to go remake my HUcaseal into a FOnewearl...

Yes, it actually does drop. The first time I took my Redria RAmar through the Normal Mine he found one. Surprised the heck out of me. And you definately want the S-Parts ver.2.01. It may not have the best stats, but considering it only requires level 17 and adds 15 ATA (even over class maximum), it's a really useful shield for low level droids.
