akiko's pan / dark falz faq's

hello, i'd welcome any response to this but especially from Ambrai and co. who are the staff.

on your faq for getting the frying pan (weapon quest), it says: on gran squall talk to the guy near the principals portal. well there is no guy near here on this quest. Could you be more specific, like what does he look like or is it another quest...

also, on the dark falz/force faq it says the best way to beat him is with your most powerful weapon... ok, but if u are a force like me then which kind of spells works best on him? and is +3 light resistance important enough to sacrifice 10 hp from a digger slot? and how many scape dolls should i take? ( i have 22!)

i guess i will win with 22 scape dolls, but i'd appreciate the help, and maybe someone could update the faq's.

I can't remember what the person looks like, sorry.

When fighting Falz with a Force use Rabarta on the spikes, razonde is great for his first form, rabarta for his second form and for the final form use rafoi (sorry I only use ra spells you may want to tweak which ones you use).

As far as light resist goes, if your fighting him on hard or v-hard you want lots of light. Pro'ly 25+ depending on your def+hp. If you have to remove a digger/hp to get more light resist then do so.
Scape dolls are also very import for a force. In his final form, his slash attack will kill most lvl 60 force characters np. So you would pro'ly need to take all the scape dolls ya can. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif

Isn't he the same guy you talked to in the silly Value of Money quest, who kept spending too much on weapons? He wears a blue outfit, and stands outside the hunters guild in between the main teleporter to the planet and the teleporter to the Principal's office.

Dark Falz...Hard...UGH. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_frown.gif But SaitoH's right about the Resist/Saints, I couldnt' survive even a single blast without Aviendha/Pirotess there to revive me EACH and EVERY time (somehow the only time I hit Dark Falz I'm playing with one of SaitoH's characters! It's an error in the FAQ. He's outside the shop, IIRC. Just talk to everyone on Pioneer 2 if he's not outside the shop. He is in Gran Squall.
