A couple days ago, the unthinkable happened to me. Up till this point i had never really lost anything to FSoD. Now i can say i have, and it came at the worst possible time. I had basically ALL of my good Ranger weapons on me. My one and only Spread Needle, S rank Shot w/Zalure specail, 35hit Red Mechguns, and my only Frozen Shooter. Wasn't an FSoD, but rather the power went out when i was online... Anyway, the most valuable to me, of the four i had on me was the 35hit Red Mechguns. Irreplacable in my eyes. And it so happened that i had them equipped when the power failed, so i thought i saved them. But rather, coming back online i noticed the only thing i had equipped was my Spread Needle. So i lost the other 3 weapons... Ive been pretty bummed about the Red Mechs until now!

Today friends and i were doing TTF. The only Rappy in the quest turned up to be a Pal Rappy. A KING PAL at that http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif It was a redria game, so i thought "Hmm, my Red Handgun with hit maybe?" But the others decided to switch the ID and go for Red Partisan. They got stiffed on it. Anyway it got me thinking about all the time i spent in Fake in Yellow looking for a Red Handgun with hit. So i decided to do a couple runs after that, before i went to bed. 1st run, i find one. Has small percents to 3 areas but no hit. 2nd run, find another Pal who stiffs me on the Sacred Cloth (no biggie). 5th run another Red Gun. Rather then quickly looking at the percents right away like i normally do, i instead open the quick menu, highlight the SPECAIL WEAPON and compare it to the weapon i had on me (a 50% hit Diska of Braveman) My jaw drops as i notice it adds like 20 more ATA then my 50hit DoB. I quickly exit that and look at the percents. Untecked this beast is (0 0 5 0 50) A 60 hit Red Handgun! Can't ask for much better then that!

No i forgot all about it. And im not really 100% how it works. Someone told me you immediatly make a Multiplayer game, and the items are for some reason, still there? Then just give to other character, save, bla. Is that all? Anyway its too late. S ranks are easy enough to earn, and i have more then enough PDs to get Zalure back on it. A friend already gave me another Frozen Shooter. But the 35hit Red Mechs are irreplacable. Well, its not worth the time to hunt it anyway. Since now im working very hard hunting down a Yas9k, the Red mechs would probably never be used again anyway.

But if anyone has a 35hit (no higher or lower) Red Mechgun they'd be willing to dupe, id appreciate it. I normally frown on duping, but i also frown on losing hard earned items to a BS glitch...

Yeah, that's pretty much how you save your items. I used a similar method to beat corruption entirely (turned off GC too fast=corrupted, multi-mode save= not corrupted)

I have some 15 dark, RM's. Kinda crappy, but I don't need 'em. It might take a while to get them to you (I'd have to trade/donate through lain2k3)

Dang i wish i would of thought of that... Oh well, whats done is done. And i also have spare Red Mechguns. Its just the 35hit i want. I'd rather use a 50hit Vulcan then a 0hit Red Mechgun. The red handgun probably gives 20 more ATA than the DoB, don't know if it's 20 for certain but it'd probably be around that.

I'd take the Red Mechs off your hands, but just like you, when i finally find my Yas9k, i won't use them either. At least i can say i found a 35hit Red Mech... And Deus can have the FS. I'm gonna start piping one of these days for a FS with decent hit, so i can finally make my Snow Queen. Don't wanna waste 50ish PD's on a cruddy FS.

You guys are so lucky to be on-line. Although I would probably like it more to 'find' a Good Gun rather than receiving one because the player has multiple or a better gun...

Nope, it was a Purplenum find. In Fake in Yellow, from my experience, you find a Red Handgun every 3-5 runs. It varies obviously, but on average thats how long it takes. Where as Redria you see a Pal Rappy every... well, alot more then 3-5 runs. Piping might be faster i guess, but if at all possible i stay away from piping.

And i did "FIND" the Red Handgun myself. I didn't recieve it online. I'm just not capable of taking screenshots, so i had my friend Vulpes take the screenshot for me...
