what does the luck factor do, does it up your chances of finding the rares that they drop. Or does it up the chance of finding photon drops, or addslots.

According to PSOW guides Luck ONLY affects crits.. but iv had experiences upping my luck with a certain item and obtaining the rare drop i wanted right afterwards after searching countless times.. Reguardless of what people say, i think it affects drops.. but many many will argue.. (like everyone?)

lol he means CRITICAL HIT. If you MISS alot its because your ATA was low. A critical hit means you hit harder then usual. Say weak attack = 500 damage. hard attack = 1000 damage. a CRITICAL hard attack will be 1500 damage (or was it 2000 damage?) i forget but its more damage then normal anyway http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Luck is only for critical hits, people have checked the coding and thats what it is... so I'm not gonna argue with the game's coding

My luck is 10 and like atleast once per combo I hit a critical. Is this normal or is it because I use mechs?

its called being able to hack into the game's coding a la a computer program, and yes, i've watche dsomeone do it before, and according to the game's coding it only affects critical hits.

i'd say its because ur using mechs, cause they get 9 hits and no matter what ur luck is u probably almost always get 1 critical somewhere in there. i have 100 luck and about 50% of the time i attack with any weapon i get a critical. really awesome for twin sabers, twin swords and mechguns http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif u get the most hits with those weapons.

Nope, only the Lv of Gi/Rabarta and the monster's ESP affect this, and Gibarta freezes better.
