Because of the stiffness of the clip that holds the CD my precious 'Enya Collection' 2nd CD has snapped!

That is the best CD of them all as well! My homework sessions wil never be the same again! And i'll just have to do with the other three when i've had a bad day! I hate CD cases! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

[/shortest but most significant rant ever]

Man, i hate it when you get those stupid clips that just dont want to give you your CD. Nearly broke several games cause of these stiff clips.

Sorry about your CD, but you could look on the bright side, you now have a spare CD case (even if it doesnt like giving you your CDs back).

I almost broke my first disk of MGS:TS because it was being so stubborn. I creativly wiggled it out, though.

Probably record execs, wanting to make more money off of broken CDs.

And Shifter, your sig reminded me of one of the greatest underrated shows of all time. Thank you.

I hate that too. I almost broke my PSO cd that way.

It's part of a £28 collection set with four CD's, so it would mean having to buy the whole set again! Seeing as it technically won't be illegal as I have the cd (albeit snapped in half) I will just donwload the songs and write them to a cd. It still wont be the same again! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

P.S If you have never listened to Enya properly, do yourself a favour and go and buy one of her cds! Some of her songs are incredible...

I hate it when I lost my favorite CDs some place in Colorado. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif Had some really great tunes on those disks... And that was before I made MP3 backups of everything... Stiff CD cases are indeed evil though. But why not just carefully set the disk in the case without pushing all the way down? It should be the same effect, yes? Just minus the snapping and breaking of course.

I know how to solve your problems. Just buy a Casset Tape...

Do they still make Casset Tapes?

I feel your pain, on the CD cases bro. Multi-disc cases are murder when you first open them. You gotta go with the wiggle method.

I just about snapped my Snapcase twin-set a few days ago. Blast those mass-produced, pieces of plastic crappulance.

Indeed! Nobody else that I know seems to appreciate the "superiority" of Enya, it's annoying, especially when they criticise her music without having listened to it properly! It's just nice to come home and listen to "Miss Clare Remembers" after a really stressful day...

I have now regained my old cd, although it now has a blank face http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif And by the way, it wasn't snapped pulling it out, it was putting it in. The clip was too large (or the cd was faulty in the first place) and a large crack made its way right down the centre of the cd! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_cry.gif

Hmmm, how do you 'listen to it properly' ?
I just plug in my noise cancelling headphones into my comp, lie down on my bed, turn it on, and that'll pretty much be that. Otherwise, when not exactly a stress reducer, it's pouring out of my speakers (recently, as well as Tori http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif)

As in, listening to anything but Orinoco Flow, which everyone seems to have heard and passed judgement on http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif
