I've misplaced any site sig rules http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif so I'm just wondering...
is JavaScript alowed in sigs (I've got two pictures on a MouseOver). What about CGIs generating random ones? What about, say, HTML Form elements? Marquee? There's loads of stuff possible, but the admins might think it's wrong. I'm just curious.

how can you misplace it if there are 2 links to the forum rules from the forum index.

i don't care if you have a mouseover, if it's a correct one codewise (i don't want to fix broken sigs) and if your total pics that have to be loaded does not exceed the limit. the cgi random ones and stuff, not sure if erupt would like it

A server side script that randomly returns an image should be okay. All of those sigs floating around that have some character with a sign with random sayings are done by a server side script that generates the image.

This one? (http://www.danasoft.com)
I know about that, just one user here has his own random-sig-return program and apparently he's been getting some grief for it.

Someone else has made one? I haven't seen any others that are like that yet.

Last time I checked,BRTW2 (http://www.pso-world.com/user.php?op=userinfo&uname=BRTW2)'s sig choses randomly from about 4 images whenever it loads. I'm aiming to do this with PSO snapshots, just can't find a free cgi host.

I doubt that'll be able to find a free host that allows CGI and allows you to directly to the scripts from an outside source. Before I finally got a paid host for my PHP stuff, I couldn't find any that would allow that and they were all really unreliable. You could try put a Java script into a webpage and then display the page via an inline frame in your sig.
