This belongs in Player Matchup. Anyway, I'm sure if you post in that forum you'll get at least a few replys from people who would love to meet up and adventure http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif BTW I saw you were looking for PSO for Gamecube. Any luck finding a copy? (See, I'm not as rude as you may think http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif )

Just a quick question...

Wasn't the DC servers taken down months ago?

Yeah, most hardcore DC players imported the PAL version.

I will get used to what goes where soon I hope, and yes your not always rude ^_^ , I hope we can be friends. I play on a player run server actually, it does not allow FSOD's and such. I think the forum rules are that I cannot talk in detail about it or post links and such, but if you PM me I will explain how to join me http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I still have yet to find it for GC new, I did find a used copy at a local Gamecrazy store but I doubt it will be able to go online. Im still looking though!

Yeah, I play on that said server as well, and I really enjoy it, but please dont discuss it at PSOW. I dont want to see you get in trouble http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

If its possible, maybe you can get the serial and access key off of the game box and call Sega to see if that was ever registered with them. If it wasn't then you would be able to purchase a Hunters License with that copy and since its used, you'd be getting the game a bit cheaper. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Im still not clear as to WHY it can't be discused here? This is a PSO community and fansite, there are NO MORE DC servers for us to play in this country, so why would something like a player run server that gives us the chance to play again be a bad thing?

Well they want $39.99 for it used, and I dont have the money for it right now. I also want to get PSO 3 before it disappears like 1&2 did.

You know, you could buy that used game, get PSO Ep3 if possible, and just use the Ep3 serial number and access key for both games.

OH MY GOD you can do that without ever registering the PSO 1&2 key?

Yeah. You only need one working serial for both EpI&II&III.

see, since sega closed out us servers, current free dc severs in the us are reverse-engineered or code hacked..
though for the good of pso fans, it's still against gamespy's policy
