Regarding ATP figures in the weapons tables

Sorry if it's been asked before...when I look up weapon stats in the tables for Ep1&2, a range of values is shown for ATP. For example, looking up the Last Survivor sword, I see ATP given as 275-321. What does this mean? The sword's grind range is +31 yet the ATP range is 46. Every Last Survivor I've found gave the same attack bonus (unground) and this was 321. Can someone explain? Why the range? Thanks.

The range you see is a hidden calculation everytime you successfully attack with a weapon. For example, if a weapon has 90-100 ATP it will add an amount between 90-100 to your base ATP each time you attack. I made a topic some time back about how variable ATP works. Use the forum search function and see if you can find it.
