It's Ino'lis only. You're partnered with Kranz, against a hunter HU and RA. The map is filled with rocks, seperating you from Kranz, while the two enemies start pretty damn close to him. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I've done it 4 times now, haven't been able to do any serious damage, the Kranz rushes them, and they kill him way too fast http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif One time, I had a bad first turn roll, 2nd turn Kranz was down to 2 HP. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I'm working on a deck for this, Rati/Fly/Immortality seem to make the most sense. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

o.o sounds interesting...

now... if we can get a card from this quest... that will be even MORE interesting...

I hope so, since this is the most insanely difficult quest so far http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif No matter what I do, they double team Kranz. The closest i've come is knocking them both down to 5HP with combos of Immortality + Gizonde, but it gets too hard when they're both equipped to the teeth, and attacking Kranz 4-6 times each turn.

10 tries now, 10 losses http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif Even w/ Immortality out, and Rati on, I can't manage to win this http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

3 Times so far
1st: Wasted, no chance
2nd: Got them to 3 HP, would have won but Kranz used a Bullet Storm which allowed the RAnger to smash my weapons and kill me.
3rd: Separated the two of them, the ranger went for me. Would have worked perfectly, cept that I never drew a single weapon, followed by Kranz and his ever so nice Bullet Storm.

It's just crazy. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif Notice that they roll high dice 90% of the time? in 13 matches, i've seen them roll less than a 4.. maybe 10 times. Maybe. I'm trying with Stamina, 3x Dice+ played at the proper times, to try and pull of 3 tech attacks now, but I can't get the Ranger to run after me http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Beat it.

Deck used:
Club of Zuriman x 3
Wand x 3
Storm Wand Indra x 1
Foie x 2
Gifoie x 1
Rafoie x 1
Barta x 2
Gibarta x 2
Zonde x 3
Gizonde x 1
Wall x 3
Protection x 1
Solid x 3
Defender x 3 (Take these out, useless)
Fly x 1

Run up if you don't get fly, pull the ranger off of Kranz. If you get rolls of 3 every round, you will do it. After that, just keep pounding the ranger. Keep it up, hopefully the HU will equip a Shifta Merge and waste her points with it. Beat it 4th time when she equipped a mag, Shifta, Dagger, and Berril Knuckles.

Damn you, beat it a few minutes before me. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I ran 3 squares the first turn, Immortality and Dice+1 and run 3 squares, equipped Fire Scepter: Agni x2, run 2, Immortality again, finally got into range, their weapons blew up, and hit them both twice with Gibarta in one turn, and Kranz boosted the second one http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif Got an A rank and Nintendo Dream Mag http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I can almost NEVER pull the Ranger off Kranz... I can go and hit her with Foie or somethin... And she just runs off after Kranz. That was my main problem, them two timing him. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Now... To never ever touch this quest again.

Yes a Nintendo Dream Magazine.
I just did the quest with some luck in 3 attempts.
Somehow both the RAmarl and the HUnewearl liked wooping me instead of Kranz (huney did an attack sometimes on Kranz, but mostly on me). I equipped Rati on first turn and moved on second and stood right besides the huney, because Kranz didn't move the first turn (lucky me). And unlike a stupid Kranz I have def cards (for him too http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif ), took 30 turns and then the RAmarl was so stupid not to equip anything the last turn and not have any defs cards while I only needed to woop 5 hp, so one tech and she was dead http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Seeing how others did I quess I got lucky http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

But man do I hate battles where you have to play for two, especially as a hunter. And this quest has that written all over it. Bah! So to quote psojohndoe2:
Now... To never ever touch this quest again.

Are you all japanese players? Cause I checked this morning and I didn’t have it available to download…*Sniffs*

Arislan
Apr 8, 2004, 11:30 AM
Yes, JP version, it's a JP only quest, yet again... Fair enough, seeing that the Magazine is a JP magazine, and therefore wouldn't really have a marketing purpose in bringing the quest to US players.

That doesn't make me happy about not allowing US players to get the quest, but it does make sense...

Mabye itll be EGM magazine in the US? Or Nintendo Power?

Getintothegame

Why can't I download the quest? It says there is no download file found

LollipopLolita

did you note that it's jp only?

HairyGoat

doh. i'm not thinking. I can still get the quest if I change my language to JP right?

psojohndoe2
Apr 8, 2004, 09:11 PM
No. You can't. So far in Ep.3, every JP download quest is NOT available for download on US copies of Ep.3, even if you change your language setting to Japanese. Setting your language to Japanese will usually allow you to access *online* quests that are Japanese only, when they're first released.

Thanks Arislan. I beat it in ONE TRY! =P also, I switched Defender with Concentration. Man, I did 6 damage TO BOTH OF THEM with Rafoie and that. Killed them next turn.

Dreamaga is a Game Magazine company, who also owns a subsidiary named Soft Bank, who releases a lot of the Strategy Guides in Japan. Both currently available guides in Japan are Soft Bank Guides.

Game Gather is a JP Card Game Magazine. I haven't heard of anything but a couple articles saying "hey, another card game coming out", but I guess they'll take a greater interest in it when they bring out a quest or something.

They should release Kid's Soul, Seashore Preacher, Famitsu Cup and Long Legged Uncle in the U.S., even if they don't know what the magazines are. We want cards and download quest, is that so wrong.

Someone should ask ST to do that...and get some Sonic and NiGHTS music on >.>.

The more I think... does anyone else think that Game Informer looks like it will be a creature card?
