Why Pal Rappies Why?

Why must you torture me Pal Rappies??? All I want is a 1975 Agito, and I have piped rappies for hours and found [i]11[/u] Pal Rappies and none of them dropped it...

arg... I want one badly... o well I'll try again tomorrow (I mean I REALLY want that Agito)

I went through 50 Whitill Mil Lilies and 48 Pinkal Pal Rappies, a staggering 98 rare enemies total, to finally find a 1975 Agito. AFAIK, I hold the record for the most rare enemies to find an Agito (anyone care to try and top 98?). What's even worse is the very next week another Agito dropped from a Bluefull Tollaw (1/10083 base, 35% drop rate, 1/28809 average) while I was hunting Imperial Picks and Holy Rays. Argh!

Remember, the 1/22 (among others) is a scientific average. Actual results will vary widely, as I've shown above. -.-;

yeah you may as well ignore those average drop rates, they don't mean shit! I've found 2 sacred guards off tollaws, and yet never found a justy off a bartle, I bet the odds are way different on that one, and that sjust one of many many examples.

im searching with my bluefull for an agito (Tollaw must drop it). Already did approximatly 50 native research runs (9 tollaws) and didnt find one yet.

14 Rappies now ... ya I know about the drop rates but why can't the Pal Rappies be nice to me... I wonder if the drop ratio is too high for this weapon...

It would be much better to do runs in soul of a blacksmith, there is almost 30 tollaws I think.

Pal are hard to find then you have to be luckly for them to drop the item... this is crazy... o well I got 24 Stags from El Rappies trying to find the darn Agito

If u think hunting for a agito 1975 from pal is hard try finding them from a tollaw with a bluefull even in the heat sword quest online now that hard ~_~.
over 2,000 tollaws= only 1 agito 1975 @_@

Try piping for Psycho Wand. 1/205 from a Mil Lily, that and Heaven Punisher from a Hildetorr. Those two are either pipable or the two rarest items in the game. Either way it would take years to get one.

No, only months lol. I think those rates are messed up because I got my Heavens in 56 tors and my friend got a wand in 20 lillys. I have meet a lot of people who have piped for wand and non of them have said they had to find 205 or more.

I broke down on the 16th one and when in traded for a Legit Orotiagito with no %s ... I don't want to pipe another 16 Pal Rappies... I'm not that desperate to find one

well dam. i read all the post and a lot of peoples luck just sucks, but if i piped all the time id see more rares, but right now i dont have the time. i generally dont pipe long for rares, maybe 10-20 minutes, so when i did the quest searching for lionel and got to C2 and started to pipe at the last leg. 7 or 8 pipes and boom, a rare lilly pops up and is nice enough to drop me a sange with ok stats.

Luck. PSO is pure luck. Sure there are scientific drop rates but, well take a looksie at my stats:

RAmarl, level 167, Bluefull. 400+ HS/Forest runs:

Pal Rappies: 3, HP/Revivals 1
Hildetorr: 1, Heaven Punishers, 0, dur
Tollaw: Agito 1975, 1 someone else took then left game, causing remaining Forest and HS runs went locked, or at the least with people I know only
Gulgus Gue: 3 Imperial Picks, 0 with hit
Assorted rares: meh, nothing spectacular, 15 hit Gae Bolg, 25 hit Guilty Light, and 35 hit Elyson
And last but not least,
Dragon: 3 Holy Rays

I was then unfortunate enough to corrupt. This caused an extreme hatred towards Bluefull after the corruption. I just couldn't bear to have these stats haunt me again. So, I am Greennill now and have found boatloads of rares, many with rather nice hit. Go figure.
