Just wondering about Lavis Cannon?

I'm currently doing Redria runs of Addicting Food with my Hunter, looking for my very own Lavis Cannon.
And was just wondering what the drop rate is like off the red slimes?

Nah, that ain't that bad I suppose.
It's just I've been splitting them for ages, and still haven't seen a red slime...another ten minutes, and I'll go see if I can get another Demolition Comet from the Mil Lilly's.

Yeah, luckily I'm a Human using Rabarta to split them.

Well that went well, not!
Spent ages piping and splitting (hate splitting), and didn't see a single Red Slime, so I moved on to the Lilly's, saw two Mil's, both of them dropped a Monomate...how helpful.
Well, I'll try again tonight.

Doing exactly the same hunt...Redria Addicting Foods...I stop on C2 with the 2 slime room, I have no problem getting red slimes (100 FOnewearl with 1700 TP) but I am 0/7 so far... =

When I get it, it's off to forest with my Oran to get 2x synesta...I'm far from done...

Along with that lack of luck, I found another Mil today, but it dropped something normal...I have like 4 Demo comets fortunately...

Oh, almost forgot, this is the best place because there is a healing rig right next to the slime room...
