GC: PSO Ep 1 & 2 hows it online?

Ive been taking a break from PSO in 4 month and want to go back, but is it still many players? Or is everyone on EP3 now? Im from Sweden, Europe. So it would be good if anyone in the same time could tell me http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

It has died down some, antares 8 rarely has more than 50 people in it unless its a Friday or Saturday, but Vega is still popular and Deneb is more populated now

It has died down some. I started playing Ep 1 and 2 for the Gamecube about a year and a half ago. Like the dude said before, Antares 8 rarely has 50 gamers in it. Although vega is still somewhat packed. I dont go on as frequently, I stayed offline for a while when a lot of my buddies I met from day one quit playing, and there was a time when the duping/hacking/spamming/etc, ect got way out of hand and it made me sick, so I took a holiday. I started going back online, and I haven't stumbled across the aformentioned things that often. It actually has been quite enjoyable, and I frequently meet legit gamers like myself and we have a blast leveling, and a funny thing, I check out antares 8, and the spammers seemed to have given up, or at least during the times I checked it out. Anyway, its still a blast if you play with a cool crowd, legit gamers rock on.

Antaries 8 has been basically abandoned. Whenever I go on there is maybe at the most 10 people there and 3 teams. I think Deneb is a better try.

That sucks. The people at IGN are legit and they were sick of the antares 8 crap so they whent to den9 so they could have a private area for legit... now all the dumb dupers are going there -_-

Yeah, Deneb 9 is where I've found good games lately. If you poke around Vega hard enough you could find a good game...mostly ttf.

Haha yesterday I went to Deneb 9 with a friend to see if we could solicit some good players into joining us for some quality gaming. The first person to join us was a lvl 200 FOmar who wouldn't join us to game, but only beg for level 30 techs. The next guy that joined quickly jumped in and acted like an ass spamming stupid shortcuts while making me have to run up to heal him (I'm a RAmarl). I guess his mighty Tsumikiri J Sword and Sange & Yasha weren't enough to protect him from the Ruins critters.

Hopefully Deneb 9 isn't always like that heh.

Why are they worthless? I've played with some legit 200s that played very well... Anyway vega has sorta risen from the grave and in a coup overthrew antares,with deneb as an allied,but smaller,ship. Probably because you can easily max your important stats out much earlier, leaving you with NOTHING left to achieve unless you still need rares from your ID.

*edit* It's also worthless because some people use AR codes to get to 200. There are no more bragging rights associated with being 200 these days...

Isn't the achievement with level 200 knowing you've done it. Taking the time to have finally finished. Its one of the biggest goals in the game,or at least it should be. I've noticed a decline in ar 200 now,and anyway if no one believes you,you still know. 200 is worth playing for,whats the other point(I guess items might be...).

To each, his/her own I guess. My highest character is 171 now. Knowing that I haven't even hit the halfway point to 200 is kind of blah. I'll never hit 200, that's for sure.

I see what you mean about the "knowing you did it yourself" thing though. Good point.

Ok, just recieved my shiny new gamecube, in goes pso, new memory card, and off i go, setup bba and hunters in about 10mins and im online with a brand spanking new char ( RAcast - Purplenum ), its good to be back http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

And what can i say, this game rawks so bad online, its totally awsome, the new ep2 maps are kickass, the old ep1 maps are still as awsome, and its fun, alot of fun http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif So its a lil slow with everyone around ( legit and non-legit ) using there pre-made 200 mags and rares from other chars ( or hacks ) but i steared clear and met some nice folks and its easy enough http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

So, if u can get online but ure not, then do it, if u got money for a bba, then do it, cos it really does bring out the all of this game, tbh, i really cant see how u can play offline..

Welcome back to pso! I think online is the best part off the game,too. Its in the name,heh. I eventually go crazy and start talking to myself when I play offline too much.
