1. PSO ep. 1 & 2 (for GC)
2. BroadBand Adaptor
3. a Keyboard for my GC

I really didn't know where to put this topic.. so.. it's in tech support...

I usually just play PSO at my friend's house offline, but I really want to play online. I already bought a Gamecube/2 controllers/memory card on ebay for about 100 bucks, but everything else is really expensive (even on ebay! *gasp*).

I'm hoping someone could direct me to where i can find a GOOD DEALfor the items listed above.

I'd really appreciate any information.

Well to start, that lot knew is gonna be over another 100$, get a keyboard adapter and ure starting to cut it down.. try:

www.play-asia.com for a decent keyboard adapter so u can use ure PC keyboard or any old 5$ kb with it http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

im not sure about getting the actual game as im in uk and had to order PAL version http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif Might wanna try ure local gamestop or eb store.. They might even have a BBA there for ya to http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

and BBA i got mine off www.ebay.com i think it was about 29.99GBP so convert it back to $ and u get that amount, or u can get them from www.nintendo.com and there shop thingy..

Hope this was of some help, Im sure violet will dive in with a bit better details later on http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Proph.

Well, he pretty much pinned it on info there.

Keyboards:
Your choices are the ASCII controller (expensive)
Powerbaord ($20, lots of horror stories)
Adaptor ($10-20, some horror stories as well)

Best bet is the adaptor, get it from Play-Asia or http://www.lik-sang.com My Lik-Sang adaptor has been working perfectly for months now, not a hitch to it. Of course, you need a keyboard too, but you can pick those up cheap about anywhere.

Game:
Game Store (You'll probably call everywhere and turn up nothing)
EBay (Expensive)

Try the first, and DO NOT BUT USED if you are planning on going online, as they will likely not work. Even if some used game store creep says it was just opened and not used, don't believe him. The game may not have been used, but you can bet taht serial and key has.

BBA:
nintendo.com (reliable, fast)
EBay (Possibly cheaper)

Not much to say here.

First off, lets cover the game itself. There are a number of places you can look for it. Make sure if you purchase a used game, that the serial number and access key were not already registered with SEGA, otherwise you won't be able to go online. My suggestion is that if you find a used copy locally, write those numbers down and call SEGA first before buying it. Online that may be harder to do, but you should be able to email the seller and ask them if they already played online with their copy.

As for deals:
AMAZON (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/stores/offering/list/-/B00005RCR0/all/ref=dp_pb_a/104-9595389-8907119)
EBAY (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62053&item=3091446422&rd=1) This one has unused key and serial http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif
EBAY (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62053&item=8100499583&rd=1)
EBAY (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62053&item=3091231702&rd=1)
EBAY (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62053&item=8100366432&rd=1) Great deal and supposedly never played. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

As for a keyboard, you have several choices:
SHARKBOARD (http://gear.gameshark.com/objects/657650.html) $29.99 (correct mapping)
POWERBOARD (http://us.codejunkies.com/shop/product.asp?c=US&cr=USD&cs=$&r=0&l=1&ProdID=167&CountryID=US) $19.99 (works well but some of the mapping is wrong.)
SAMMY KEYBOARD CONTROLLER (http://www.playasia.com/paOS-13-71-23-70-3no-4-7.html) Definitely most expensive. (around $70 at most import shops.)
KEYBOARD CONVERTER (http://www.playasia.com/paOS-13-71-24-70-29s-4-7.html) Around $15 at most import shops.

For BBA's you have several choices also, however if you are in the states then its usually best to go with Nintendo directly. You'll find that even alot of Ebay listings are more expensive.
NINTENDO (http://store.nintendo.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&langId=-1&ignoreCrumbs=N&crumb1=&crumb1Ignore=&crumb2=%253CA%2BHREF%253D%2522javascript%253APassO n%2528%2527X%2527%252C%2B%2527ChooseView%2527%252C %2527%2527%252C%2B%2527%2527%2529%253B%2522%253ENi ntendo%2BGameCube%253C%252FA%253E&crumb2Ignore=&crumb3=%253CA%2BHREF%253D%2522javascript%253APassO n%2528%2527C%2527%252C%2B%2527CategoryDisplay%2527 %252C%252744009%2527%252C%2B%2527N%2527%2529%253B% 2522%253EParts%2B%2526%2BAccessories%253C%252FA%25 3E&crumb3Ignore=&translateFrom=%C8%C9%C7&translateTo=EEC&usrSearchText=&searchText=&selSrchType=&page=&view=&productId=13901&categoryId=44009&lastAction=ProductDisplay) $34.95

Outside US:
LIK SANG (http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=52&products_id=778&PHPSESSID=f11cdcfd35aec74190c5fbdda32a03e2) $49.90
PLAY ASIA (http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-28-70-lm-4-5-15-broadband.html) $45.90
