ill Gill is cool and all but how do i get it not to kill its

I just got an Ill Gill card from a transformation, I was sooooo excited!! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif but, there is a bad side to this devastating card.... every turn it hurts itself!!! How do i avoid this weird attribute?

You COULD read the card? http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif IIRC, it takes 1 damage everytime it attacks if you don't use an Action Card with it.
