Does luck affect finding rare items

lol.. by the subject .. you can tell im a noob =) but i was wondering.. does luck affect whether or not ill find more rare items? i never could figure it out.

Nope. Luck only affects your chance of getting a Critical Hit (melee) against an enemy. It does NOT affect finding rares or techs.

Yeah, you could have 100 luck, but you'll find rares just as much as someone with 10. Only affects critical hits. I laugh at my friend who cheated on Luck Materials, only for me to tell him that they wouldnt help him find a '75 Agito, lol! Not that it matters now, since we both corrupted :S Ey well.
