I dunno what they mean by user ID and password. I'm using dial up by AOL. I've tried my master screename and password but it didn't work. It sials the number fine but when it says sending user id and password it says error check your user id and pass again. I dunno what to do.

AOL dialup is not directly compatible with PSO. In fact any type of ISP that uses proprietary software to connect is not directly compatible.

There is hope however. You need to return the Modem and pick up a BBA (broadband adaptor.) With the BBA, you can use ICS (internet Connection Sharing) to get online with your GC. Read through the STICKIED topic HERE (http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.php?topic=37273&forum=3&75) for more info on how to set up ICS. Basically what you will be doing is sharing your PC's internet connection with your GC.

Heh you missed my point. The Broadband adaptor will be used with your DIALUP. To use ICS, you connect a crossover cable (patch cable) from a NIC (network Interface Card) on your PC to the BBA on the GC. You won't be using the phone line to connect your GC. Using ICS, you will be sharing the DIALUP connection that runs on your PC with the GC. In order to do that you need a BBA to be able to connect your PC and GC together.

he easy option would be to sign up with another ISP that uses standard dial up procedures.
