PUSSY RANGERS!!!

Man pussy Is the #1 word of the Ranger.... they sit back and click a button... theres not much stratigy in it..... i was a ranger for about a month and all that I had to do was site back and hit a button to kill guy since thne i have been a hunter and tried a ranger again and i got EXTREMELY BORED!!!!! so well Rangers suck!

Rangers don't suck. they just use a different fighting style. So do forces.

Rangers are not designed to take alot of hits. Believe me, they may have range, but let's see.. Delsaber, Chaos Bringer, Chaos Sorcerer, Poison Lily, Poufilly Slime, Hildebear, any boss.. All of these have some way to quickly bang up a ranger who isn't paying attention.

A ranger's typical ranged weapon doesn't do as much damage as a comparable melee weapon, and the shot types do even less. Also only the RAmar has techs, and the ones he has are only good defensively.

Try being a ranger but only use saber-type weapons.

How Rangers have a great look:

1) They can carry a bazooka, a flamethrower, and a huge shotgun.
2) Only they can figure out how to make a weapon out of a tuning fork (I'll let you think about it; it's obvious actually)
3) Their rifles have the best possible range.
4) RAcaseals are cute; too bad they are droids.
5) RAcasts seriously demonstrate raw power.

I'd prefer to use the techniques also instead of only using a rifle or whatever ...! And RAmar's don't suck, men!!! My first character was a Ranger, which I got to level 100 and still use happily to deliver punishment in V.Hard Ruins, but I have to admit that after trying HUmar and FOmarl, being a RAmar is boring. HUmars are in the middle of it all, dishing out massive damage up close and personal, but that probably gets kinda boring too if you become too powerful that you can slaughter a Dimenian in one combo. Personally, I can't get enough of playing as a Force. It's the challenge. Even in Normal Ruins, I sometimes find myself getting the smacketh down laid upon me. Seeing that frail female body eat floor looks funny. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_razz.gif I just need to work on her more... today I shall venture to Hard Mode. *gulp*

The big ranger advantage is that it's easy to play them and level up quickly because of the shotguns. But you know what? Just MAAAAYYYYYBE the reason the Spread Needle is so popular is because it lets Hunters get the same experience (except there's not nearly as much variety).

I think I enjoy playing a ranger more because I started off playing Hunters and Forces. If the only character you've played is a Ranger, you've missed out on a lot of the gameplay in PSO. But if it's your 3rd or 4th character, you just can't help but get addicted to the fast levelling up and relaxing gameplay. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif

OTOH, even a Ranger can use a few good melee weapons for variety--Soul Eater, Chain Sawd, and S-Beats Blade.

Yes after making a HUcast last night i find it quite boring to play as a ranger anymore...their fighting style gets so repetive.

I had level 100 melees in awe today (was 91 RAmar, currently 94). I brought out my Varista's. One with 50% Forest and one with 45% Cave. So I did 600 damage a hit and they asked me to use my spread instead (joking but maybe they were thinking it). Anyways, Rangers do NOT suck. I get way more exp as a ranger also, so levels are faster. Because i've killed 3 things in a room while the melee is still fighting some other one and I help him finish it and get exp. I got from 79-94 in 3 days. 20 hours in those 3 days played. I rather enjoy my ranger, but when I put on some melee weapon and stand in the middle of the battle - I thank god I picked a RAmar.

Even though my first choice for PSO is a force,I also have a "pussy RAmar" who kicks MAJOR ass,and he's not even level 40 yet.I'm gonna be scared when he hits level 100.So will you........
