I would like to know what quest has the most slimes in one room.
(A.k.a. Addicting food has a room with 3 slimes or something)
Thanks for the help.

The most slimes you can get in Addicting Food are 2 in one room which can multiply into a total of 8. Theres no way to find 3 slimes in a room, 2 is the max, but you can multiply them into 8, which isnt that bad, just takes alot longer than any other pipe trick,so yeah your best chances are there, good luck.

Splitting into 8 can be a real pain. Like when a red slime is splitted from a blue slime, you'll have to have that red slime dead before the blue one that spilitted the red one or the red one won't have a chance of dropping a rare and never will (even from another one) until you reset/restart/quit quest. So in 8, a slime can kill each other in an instant. Therefore I would prefer not splitting them into 8 and pipe 1 with 2 in a room instead, and kill the red slime that isn't from splitting.

Wrong. The Red Slime still will drop an item if the origional Slime or any others that was split from it didn't drop an item. This has been proven.

Just to vouch for Ketchup's statement. I always kill the Red Slime last, or at least try to. I got two Guard Waves and a Morning Glory that way.

Yup. I split a Slime once, it was a Pouilly. Accidentally split the slimes once again. Accidentally killed the origional Slime ><; but it didn't drop anything. Killed the Pouilly next, it dropped its red box (my Cure/Paraysis http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif). Killed the last, moved on, finished Cave 2 then went and killed the worm.

Just pray that the blue's don't drop anything, that will deactivate the red Slime's drop.

Why does it have to be so complicating? That's why I've been piping for Hildetorrs instead and got my Magic Rock "Iritista."

Really? So I've been lowering my chances every time by saving the red slime for last? x_x

I always thought the chance to drop was predetermined, and not dependant on the 'parent' blue slime...

*edit* What if one of the other slimes kills the original blue slime? Will that also hurt your chance for rare drop from the red slime? Also what if another slime kills your red slime before you can? Any effect on drop?

I'd just like to point out that there's also a room in Caves 3 in Soul of a Blacksmith that also has 2 Slimes appearing simultaneously and can therefore be split into 8. So you're not completely screwed if you needed to clear Addicting Food to pipe some lilies in Waterfall Tears or something like that.

When finishing all of the quests, you can replay them over again many times you want.

It doesn't matter how it dies. If one dies and drops an item, none from the same origional slime will drop anything.
