My tests yeilded a 25 point boost to LCK for each additional Yellow Ring.

Force Field (Still to get)

DFP: 40, EVP: 80. Worst DFP, but the best resists of the 3.

I wonder why, and on what abilities. Considering it's on both Psychogun and Windmill, I have a feeling that they might have the abilities from the normal weapons...

the restriction is that you can only add C type specials (those that cost 30 PDs).

aura tested that yesterday on psychoguns.

I guess that still counts for nothing, lol!

What type of weapons are the Punch, Knuckle, and Harisen? For some bizarre reason the data base doesn't clasify S-Rank weapons, it just calls them "S-Rank" http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif

Soukosa
Apr 24, 2004, 12:52 PM
Punch: S-Rank verion of the Rocket Punch
Knuckle: Knuckle/Fist
Harisen: S-Rank version of the Harisen Battle Fan

Does anyone know if the S rank Launcher hits multiple enemies? If so, is it a wide range or in a straight line like the Photon Launcher/Guilty Light/Red Scorpio?

like teh Red Scorpio, and I'd really like a pic =/

Judging from the stats, and class that can equip them, I think that Launcher hits one enemy, while Bazooka can hit multiple.

Soukosa
Apr 24, 2004, 11:55 PM
The Bazooka's the S-Rank version of the Inferno Bazooka, which only hits one target.

A friend of mine has the Launcher. It looks and acts exactly like Guilty Light (complete with green photon) It is a straight line, penetrating, multi-target weapon.

Sounomi - Thanks ^_^

you said "complete with green photon" but do photon colours change with special on that weapon, too ?

looks like Guilty Light ? what a disappointment http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

Good point, forgot about that. Afore mentioned friend added Berserk after I saw it, so I don't know...I'll ask him if Berserk changed it.

Hrith
Apr 25, 2004, 08:57 PM
and I saw S-Rank Launcher, it looks exactly like Photon Launcher NOT Guilty Light, even greater disappointment http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

Berserk does not change bullet colour, try Zalure.

Does anyone have any info on Psychogun and Windmill (and Knuckle too)? Why can they only have class C specials? Do they still have their old abilities or something?

SolRiver
Apr 25, 2004, 10:44 PM
So will one be able to tell the difference between a photon launcher and s rank launcher?

if not... that really stink... I was hoping for a yellow or golden or orange or something beside normal photon ammunition... Now I dont know what to get for S rank for RAcaslea =(

Flight Cutter is what its patterned after, not Rappy's fan. im guessing you know this. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

or is this for weapon type only, and not looks?

Yeah, I went for Rappy's Fan as they work in the same way, and I assumed more people have Rappy's Fans than Flight Cutters... legit ones anyway! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Heres some info on Srank Psychoguns, the good news is that the special button is already available. The bad news is the special doesn't seem to do anything but hard damage, with lower accuracy.

It gets worse, the only specials Psychoguns can use are HP-revival or TP-revival. None of the other C-rank specials. These are not Gush/Giest but just HP or TP revival that works while moving and/or standing still.

Psychogun photons remains the same color for TP-revival. HP-revival makes them red.

This isn't true for all of the restricted weapons, each has their own ES attacks allowed - e.g. I have successfully put Berserk on my Knuckles.

I need to gather all my PDs off all characters to experiment further, I'll do a full test at the weekend if no-one gets round to it by then.

I really cant see why ST did put a restriction on the windmill (nor the knuckle or Psychogun)
I dont think putting an A rank on these would let you own the game in no time.
Still puzzled about it...

Deus-Irae
Apr 28, 2004, 04:57 AM
yeah, good question. and those weps with restrictions (to me anyways) are some of the least desirable ones of the bunch. odd...

Offline Episode II S-Rank time prizes are the same as EPI, i.e. Broom, Crazy Tune etc -

Confirmed.

ic, thx for the confirmation

Therefore the only advantage that ep2 Cmode offline has over ep1 are its A and B ranks.

Thank you, Jazhara.

I was hoping for Hunter's Shell and some other unreleased stuff ;-;

Jazhara

Me too Kef, me too. =/

The only good thing about offline EpII is the B rank is the only worthwhile prize (Green Ring), hence you *could* clear it with 2 people and get the best prize regardless of time...

.... Wait a sec.... the special on the Psychogun .... does it still do as the standard Twin Psychogun does and have a splash-damage special ... but have the additional special effect on top of that, OR is it soley the special you put onto it?

I don't even know about the windmill, and the restriction on the Knuckle is a crying shame. I was just getting used to fighting with knuckle-type weapons.

as you must have known, s-rank weps do not have special
so the gun has the ability of whatever special power you added
i wish someone has a snap of this s-rank special to show

Can anyone confirm that stats that Blue Ring & Green Ring give? I'm curious to know how good they are and what level requirements they have.

rena-ko
Dec 24, 2004, 02:56 AM
same as the other rings.

the ata ring gives 15 base and 5 for each other teammate wearing one within a certain range, afaik.

I'm taking Prof_Frink's advice and bumping these old c-mode topics to get some fresh stuff put on them.

Ep 2 c-mode has been out long enough for people to have played a bit with their new weps. So what do you think of them?

We know about the zalure needle and all that; I'm curious about weps like the Harrisen and the Moon and some of the lesser seen ones. Is the Harrisen worth getting and with what special? Would having an s-rank Moon be better for my Fonewearl than a Summit Moon (I wouldn't think so).

I'm closing in on two more Ep 2 s-ranks and I would like to know what some of your favorites are, why, and what special you finally decided on.

Thanks.
