It's hard to believe but there is nowhere in my area that my friend has been able to track down a brand new copy of PSO for the GC. We went to all the EBs here, and a few other stores that might have it, including Wal-Mart. Nowhere to be found!
We can't even find a used copy, but then again... you can't use a used copy on the internet if someone else has, just like the DC right?

If you do find a used copy, you can call ST, and say you bought a used one. They should give you new Serial Numbers and Access Keys.

Wow, didn't know it sprung up to $100 for Episode 1&2 for GC.

You could also get Ep 1&2+ for $50 here (http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=79&products_id=3780&) (check this site for what else is included in PSO+). You will also need a Freeloader (http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=81&products_id=1964&) if you are going to use a non-JP GC.

PSO was hard to find for me, and I'm sure for many people here.

yeah... I was hoping I wouldnt have to resort to that, but alas... it looks as tho I will.

I didnt want to have to buy off ebay or amazon.com because of how it can get rather expensive... maybe I'll keep on looking for a bit more till I'm left with no choice

If I were you, I'd go with the PSO+ link I posted. It may cost $65 US, but you can do the online quests, offline, allowing you to hunt those online specific rares. The only problem is that you (and your friends) will need JP formatted memory cards.

I have a freeloader. Does it help translate the japanese into english? Also, do you HAVE to own japanese memory cards?

You can use a memory card purchased anywhere, but you will need to format it using a JP game as the first save. (I am almost 100% sure you have to have a JP formatted card for it).

The first link I posted was supposed to lead there, but it is now broken for me. At Amazon, they are $100 for a new copy.

The game has an english setting, it has nothing to do with the Freeloader.

Gamecube memory cards are multiregion, they just need to be formatted according to each specific region. It is recommended that you use separate cards for each region.
