It is hard finding Episode C-Mode teams. At least for E2 C1 and E2 C2. I can't seem to get a E2 C2 team at all. I managed to get E2 C2 done twice, but both were over one hour (though my newest could have been shorter if that RAcast didn't DC).

I can't even get a team of 4. Best I had was a game where there was one other person. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

There has been a *lot* of rude, arrogant E players trying to do E2C1, generally people who have 1 or 2 EpI S-ranks and think they're invincible. They won't listen to requests to get switches, or use items to benefit the run, refusing to stop damage canceling, etc etc.

Hence some of the 'better' players who will carry you through both stages np won't join games made by >level 1 E players.

The only solution is a) play with friends b) join games on alcy 06 when they become available c) start shooting the annoying fools who made it this way. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

C2 is hard to find a game for as it's a bit long, relatively easy, and its VR - no-one really replays it once they cleared it, and all serious / regular C-moders cleared it multiple times months ago. :/

Finding ep2 c-mode games:

1. Go to alcyone 6
2. Join a game that says e2c3

I'll replay it with you. I just beat ep2 with my HUcast and I want to get a force field. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

While most JP players were willing to join EU or US games (or willing to let them join their games as well by making open- easy to read- teamnames) a few months ago, their attitude seems to have changed since ep2 was released http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif
Most games are all written in Kanji (impossible to read for most western people) and they usually replace the area number by the area place name (CCA instead of E2C3)
Although I can read it and join some teams sometimes, I sometimes do get refused by players not knowing me the moment they hear Im a Western player http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif
Lack of good Western players or language problem?
Its sad to see this attitude, but then again, I sometimes think we are partially responsible for it.
Only solution is like Jaz said, play with friends you know, or having some JP friends spreading the word its OK for you to join the team (they talk a lot, trust me on that one http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

with some basic knowledge its possible to join kanji-games and knowing what stage will be played. though however, if the name of the game clearly implys that nonjapanese arent welcomed in them, then its most likely (if you cant speak fluent-enough japanese) that the others simply cant communicate with you.

with ep1 its that by now most cmode players know several ways to clear them and can lead others through it. most of the time you dont really have to say anything, if everyone knows what to do.

but since ep2 is still new and the stages are too long to retry them just for investigation (with the exception of c3 and c5, c3 being the most replayed stage there is and c5 being the easiest - and additionally the others depending on how much retries it took to clear them...) experience is a rather slow process unless you retry and retry over and over.

the thing about ep2-cmode is that you really have to know/trust the other players. the more one screws up, the better another one has to be. and communication about tactics and ways is essential.

with some time passing, we will probably see more players who will allow beginners or lingually handicapped players in their games.

up to that point i'd advise to not rely on the others to bring you through the stages. try to be as good as you can. learn maps, learn traps, learn the possibilities, learn the pros and cons of your chara and/or try to gather as much experience with the maps and spawns as possible.

and please: dont use sub-perfect fitting chars for your first tries (aka fomar, ramar, ramarl, hunewearl, humar etc).

good luck

I feel like we need to set up times for this type of stuff. I'm only available at a certain time on certain days. Anyway, I want to join in E2 C1 or C2. I haven't done C2 yet though.

I think the reason is that most people just dont play c mode on the west side to begin with...

even here, there are probably less than 10 who do c mode regularly

What Ship/Block do you look for players on? Alcyone 6-1? I managed to beat all of E1 C-Mode with random people from that ship. Also, I managed to get through E2 C1-C2. E2 C3 is hard to play, due to the Gal Griffon's inane difficulty.

I may start my other C-Mode character on E1 C-Mode, and will help if you set a time/place that is ok for me. Also, I am interested in helping with those C-Modes. But what time will they be at?
