Maser?

I was wondering about the Power Maser. I want one because frankly I never seen anyone using one. I have heard that it is not terribly good.

Well I want to know...

-Can it do anything (i.e. Normal Attcks w/ photons/bullets) other than Zonde

-If I added percents with Photon Drops would that have an affect on damage or no because it attacks w/ Zonde

-Overall, is it a decent weapon?


Searching for it won't be a problem since I have 12 ULT chars covering all section IDs. Plus, I could possibly find a Panzerfaust / Egg Blaster / GULD (LMAO yeah right...) and some Agtios on my way. Thanks for any and all input....

I don't have one, but I've heard nothing but complaints about it. The power of it is affected by MST (I think), and it only really works on enemies that aren't resistent to the certain spell it shoots.

What if I'm using a RAceasl? I have no MST, then what?

If you just happen to find one, then great check it out, but don't waste any time purposely trying to get it. Its a garbage weapon that looks stupid.

It's the one weapon that actually makes your character worse than they started out. Don't waste any time trying to find it intentionally. That would be, well, a waste of time. If you have a friend who stumbled upon it or something like that, ask to borrow it for about 30 seconds so you can see just how bad it really is.

i thought photon drops were used to get stuff in that online quest. since when can u use them to add %`s to ur weapon? how do u do it?
