Weird thing about Rare Enemies

Hey,

Ever since I got my new memory card (1019 blocks!!! IT'S HUGE!) I've been making new characters. And this is what I noticed.

First New Character: Bleu: Skyly HUneweral. Common Occurance: Al Rappy first time in the forest.

Second New Charater: Shredder: Oran HUcast. Common Occurance: Nar Lily first trip through the caves.

On another related note, Shredder's Nar Lily was my first rare lily, but it only dropped a Monomate... http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Nothin really "wierd" about that. Rare enemies can be found thru regular runs too. But, nice finds anyways. It was on normal, so no good dropsm, right?

On my first VHard caves run the first thing I saw was a nar lilly. Also the only one till this far.
And just like you it dropped monomate.
The funny thing is the normal lilly next to it dropt a sacred guard?!

I got a Nar lily my first run through normal caves. My bro piped for Pal Rappies and got 2 in the space of twenty minutes. It's all about luck...

I played for 30 minutes today, I got a Diska of Bravemann from a Al rappy and a antidote from a Nar lillie... I find the rare enemies often enough o_O

Red Slimes X2: Red Scorpio / Photon Drop
Nar Lily X2: Cure/Confuse / Regenerate Gear
Mil Lily X2: Cure/Poison / Psycho Wand !!
Hildebear X1:Hildebears Head
Al Rappy X1:Elysion
Hildetorr X3: Red Saber / Rabbit Wand X2
Egg Rappy X1: After 170 Temple Runs i found one and it dropped a Easter Egg !

Yeah, I know it's all about luck, and rare enemies can be found on regular runs. But two on the first runs of Forest and Caves. But I did find 2 Pal Rappies on common occurance with my RAmar. One in Gran Squall, and the other in The Fake in Yellow, first room, second row of rappies. just a friendnly suggestion. im assumning that this is a 3rd party mem card (not an official Nintendo card).

i would suggest not using this card if you are worried at all about losing your game saves one day.

3rd party cards are notoriously glitchy and corrupt often enough to be wary of using them.

A friend and I started up new characters one time (HUcast Abe Lincoln & RAmar Rhodie, respectively) and on our first run through the forest, an Al Rappy dropped on us.
We were both level 2. I couldn't even damage it. It killed me and I had to take control of Abe Lincoln and use some C-Mode tactics on it to beat it. Still almost died.

If it's a good one (like the one it's on my way from hong kong) it has usb connection to the pc.. so he can just backup his sh*t a infinite number of times.. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

If anything bad happens.. just plug it back in and transfer your stuff back.

On my first character ever, a Ramar, the first time I went to the forest, and in the first room I got to, an AL Rappy dropped on my little new timer head, it took me 15 minutes to kill, doing about 1 damage with a heavy attack, whereas it did about 23 damage per shot to me.......

That's nice. Is there any specific way to attract rare monsters, 'cause I just can't find any.

"attract" them with running though areas with lots of the normal ones - i.e. if you want a nar lily, do runs through areas with lots of poison lilies (addicting food for example - or for the pipers: waterfall tears)

other than that, its pure luck, like with everything else thats random in this game.

Actually, the Memory Card 1019 is an official memory card form Nintendo.

For now: Yes.

You wrote as if it were already out. It isn't yet. So right now, all 1000+ memory cards are unofficial 3rd party.

Yes, rare enemies can be attracted on regular run throughs.

Just recently I was running my Redria FOmar through ultimate to get a Sacred Cloth from a Rappy, and I saw 2 Pals just wandering through.

Also, when I saw hard-core running Forest of Sorrow, I saw two Pals and a Hildetorr just by walking through the forest! Sadly, the Red Handguns they dropped had no Hit %s.... awh well.

Thats pretty unlikely when they can just buy one in the shop with the same result. I used a 256 memory card for my PlayStation once, but it also corrupted once! (I never use it now though)
