can i use someone's gamertag to play offline in Xbox?

it may be possable, but i'm not positive...or are you asking if someone HAS a gamertag you can use?

i was asking if it was possible. this sucks though. i cant play PSO on Xbox cause i dont have a gamertag. now my friend decided not to get Xbox. what a waste of money.
