What's your most cherished rare?

Just curious. Since I'm V1 (PAL), the drop rates are ridiculous...so I'd have to say that my most cherished rare weapon (of the three I have. = ) is the REGENERATE GEAR. Just yesterday, though, I saw a Parasite Gear: De Rol, but I let my friend have it. What about you guys? Preferably if you found it legitly.

If there's still a topic going on, I'll toss in that my most cherished rare was my four-slot Luminous Field from v.2. ^_^

(Although, in truth, I really ought to value my Suppressed Gun from v.2 more. Playing through Ultimate Soul of a Blacksmith...in Japanese, no less...required considerably more skill and diligence than merely lucking out and finding a rare drop. Likewise, I'd value a Ragol Ring more in that respect, or an S-rank weapon. Completing C-mode is something requiring genuine skill...something I horrifically lack...that one should be proud of.)

I found the Varista and DB's Saber on Endless Nightmare Ruins with three other people. Two Varistas were dropped that night....(just kidding):wink:

Man though...finding three Pouilly Slimes and only getting one rare weapon is pretty amazing. Sorry about the luck there. =|

I guess I have two really, my BKB and my Holy Ray. Both of them came from games with friends and they were kind enough to let me take the drop. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif The BKB was found in my friends Skyly tower, even though I am also Skyly. It had to be ground pretty high, then I had to use lots of my Photon Drops on it to convert MKB to BKB, and then grind it back up to +80 (A friend helped me with Grinders too, and that was awesome...something I will never forget). It is a well invested in rare...but awesome and worth every bit. The Holy Ray was a drop from the worm in a game, and since the friend I was playing with already had one he let me take that one, he didn't even bother with looking at percents and keeping the better one, which was way cool because it has a decent percent on it too. If my HUne equips the BKB she can kill in many different areas with one combo and the Holy Ray allows her to do tower runs with ease (a necessity for a Skyly). So, it's a tie, I love them both.

yeah it's all about luck (and play time) and there is little to be proud of.

More on topic, I do not think I could say I have ONE cherished weapon on NGC, although that Lavis I have been hunting for 10 months (in various IDs, even Greennill, lol) probably is. But less rare weapons with good %, especially hit% are amongst my prized items as well, as well as all my S-Ranks, I have 12 I think.

I would say my most cherished rare in V2 for dreamcast, was a RED DAGGER with 0/35/50/35, and was unexpected, its rarity its about 1/1707 and was cool, because its one of the rarest I founded, other are RED SABER 0/0/0/35, and RED SWORD 0/0/0/25 (1/70 and 1/900 respectively)

Cool! I find that the awesome resistance with Attribute Wall makes up for its slightly lower stats, and I'm a FOmar anyway and can't get much better until Tripolic in super high levels. All the rare stuff i find with hit percent i cherish. 30% hit Twin Chakrams. TWO Red Swords with 15% hit. Red Handgun with 60% hit. And probably the rarest (statisticly) thing i have... (0 0 25 40 50) 1975 Agito. Its been in my bank for like 4 months, untekked, never to move from there.

Or the stuff without hit percent, that my characters couldn't live without... Holy Ray, Spread Needle, Yas9k. The needle and Yas9k both took 3 months of hunting. I cherish them the most i guess.

most amazing thing ive found was a spread needle in version 1 with my viridia. was sumthing like a 1/109000 probability. But since i got ep 1 & 2 on xbox ive not had as much luck to be honest, i wouldnt call things like demo comet and red handgun that rare seeing as i got them from pipeable enemies. But sum good stuff ive found includes
