stats-wise, there is not

The found Aura field has the highest def and evp in the game so you should do well with it. The NON synthesized version has quite a range in the def and evp departments, and in that case, there may be other armors that beat it or closely match it like Lafuteria, Smoking Plate, DF Field, Luminous Field, Electro Frame and Brightness Circle. It really just depends on the class of your char. Since Aura can be used on any class except Androids, and because it was a found version, you should be really happy with it. The only thing I don't like about it, is that funky blue flame that engulfs your char lol.

yah i got a charcter lvl 151 and am eager to equip my aura field but im recently using my new charcter so i'll get back to that some other time. congrats, thats one of the best looking armors in the game according to me.

Just because it's found, doesn't mean it has higher than base stats. An Aura Field with base stats has lower DFP than a Lafuteria. I have found rare guards before that came with base stats.

yes, what Sou says is quite true. i found one with some friends the other week and it had like +2 DFP and +3 EVP over base stats. worse than a Lafu! :/

Nope I goofed it, I meant on non synthesized. I realized after i read your post that I forgot to add the word non, lol. I thought that the base stats for Aura Field were 235 DEF and 134 EVP which is only 5 points below Lafuteria in the DEF department but still 44 points more in EVP which still makes it better than Lafuteria (even if the AF is at base stats.) The same with DF field which can only go to 240 DEF and 144 EVP. So you are right that in some cases the found AF may not be as good but the difference is extremely negligible.

BTW Sou, that is what I meant when I said the found Aura Field has the highest stats in the game. Although the base stats can be less than the max stats on a few armors, the possible max stats for it beat any other armor or frame in the game. I guess what I should have said was it can have the highest stats in the game.

If you go back and read my previous post again (now that I fixed it lol) it will make sense, and you will see that I already talked about some of the other armors having higher stats than a non synthesized (and synthesized for that matter) AF.

that reminds me... i need some advice whether or not to use my add slots on the aura i found... it has 260 dfp and 143 evp... i know it's not as high as it could be... and my lum field only has 11 dfp and 6 evp less... i'm stuck on finding another one or just not bothering @_@

The best you are going to get for AF is 281 DFP and 151 EVP. You didn't mention how many slots the armor did have, but if you only needed to add a slot or 2, I would say its worth it. I take it that you are offline only (otherwise you could just exchange a PD for an Addslot.) Although if you have a Redria char you can easily get addslots from either a Normal Temple Hildeblue or Nar Lily.

Pesonally I wouldn't purposely try to find another one (although if one drops while you play than great) since the one you have has descent stats. If you decide to stick with that one then I would make sure it has 4 slots.

It took me 15 mil lily to find an aura field (yep, oran).
