We should make another fanfic review thread

That was a nice idea back in my early days...


Well, heres the opening review:

Short fiction: Recollection of Dragoon (http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.php?topic=79924&forum=12), by HUnewearl_Meira

This may be a short fic but it still has the detail that you'd see in normal fiction, details that tell you time was put into its creatiion. As given by the title the main character is that lovable killing machine, Dragoon. Other characters of Recollection Saga fame make brief appearances aswell; characters like Crankshaft and Paladin. But you definately will want to read the whole thing, right down to the scene at the hospital where an old man actually asks Dragoon to kill him! Obviously that guy doesn't read much!

Overall, I'd give this a score of 10/10 for being one of the best short fics I've read, and VG's time away from doing his normal Recollection fics to do this for the public.

Heh, I'm in for the reviews. Actually, someone should sticky this or at least convince the mods to create a new section to every story that allows reviews.

Anyways, I will start work on Protectorate of Light 2 and one of BLackHawks stories.

Okay, here we go!

The tale of HUnewearl PhotonDrop:

"Short but sweet," for one thing. I noticed out all you wrote in the fic, your strong suit is dialouge. Some people are good at detailing, fight scenes etc. But to me, dialouge is the part that your good at the most.
The detail is enough for people who played through the game. That is good, because more then 75% of your adiuence(sp) have played PSO. I often have a hard time remembering that.
The fight scenes are short but effective. It's not something dramatic, (like "I have a sword stuck in my head but I survived long enough to tell you this poem") which can make it realistic. But it is also, eh, a little lacking if you ask me.
The ending is unique, and I really like it. It leaves it open for a sequal.

OVERALL: 8/10

Now, I ask someone to review one of my shorts! Or all of them. Whatever you prefer.
