GC-Item: Just made my Lavis Blades!

I did some Syncesta piping today and after about 45 minutes I found a Hildetorr and it finally dropped Syncesta http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Max tekked my Lavis Cannon to 25/35/0/20 and made those blades http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

lol, ya thats the Ruins alright.
I piped the torr with an Oran character (duh) which is not the char in the pic. The Oran char is on a dif card, so i moved the Syn. to that char, and took the pic in Ruins.

congrats on finding one but i suggest you keep it as blades they look way better than a double cannon.Get yourself a BKB instead there more powerfull and look pretty cool too

Lol, Jims been pipin like crazy today, piping right now actually. He has seen 5 torrs in less than 2 hours and no syn.

I have to disagree about the BKB looking cool. It really doesn't, I mean, it's just a stick that stretches out. On the other hand, Double Cannon has spinning blades that own everything, and not as many people have them, so it makes you look cool. I also find the Double Cannon to be a bit easier to use than the Blades, but that's probably just my playing style.

I would disagree about the BKB looks, I like the way it looks, Double cannon is the fugly one.

And daggers with hit percent (h-h-h combo) are easier to use than doublesabers, not to mention faster, especially in caves/ruins.

Me piping for a Syncesta starts today. So far I've killed 3 Hildetorrs and no Syncesta yet. =/

I couldn't believe it when I came home. He was able to get his close to the average drop rate of 1/21. I'm just glad someone here is finding it. I just spent the last 5 1/2 hours piping 8 torrs (71 total now http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_argh.gif) with no luck. Now, as Dog pointed out, it's a race to see who can have a legit double cannon first. At the rate things are going now, I think Jeff is going to win.

Hard to come by by Hildetorrs? Hildetorrs are the only thing with a realistic rate of one dropping. The closest other thing is 1/12k average.

erm....torrs are the easiest place to get syncesta. theya re especially difficult to get from sinow reds and baranz

No, its not. It has a cool special, but BKB out performs it and looks much better, IMO.

But the lavis blades are woth it.

I was just implying that though piping for torr's can considered easy for some, but not for others. i'd of sooner jumped for the chance to hunt a syncesta with redria in lost soul blade than pipe for so and so hours if i knew it'd take that many for one...

Twin Saber animation with a HUcaseal is not better than any other, it just looks different, but is timed the same.

i've been making too many mistake quite recently... too many for my own good... maybe because i don't explain myself clearly enough...

anyway, back on topic... the lavis blades aren't that bad, though i'm not very good with daggers... they pwn on a hucaseal though.

and i find the HUne doublesaber animation better than humar's/hucast, since i never get interuppted by enemy attacks, and they usually do that when they do a fast attack after the first part of the HUmar/cast combo

Shione and Kefka have no trouble at all, but I agree that Daggers pwn Twin Sabers, Dagger are a lot faster.

Do you use H/H/H combos with twinsabers? because W/H/H does not work in the least for me.

I use twinsabers in forest, Vs. large enemies, and with Hucassys, I use my 40 hit cross scar i most places with lain.

I wish I had Sreds or red daggers with hit.


BTW, what weapon does shione have in your sig?

I fail to see how you're having trouble, I never have any trouble at all with Double Sabers, anywhere.

Of course, most patterns of enemies call for either a multi-hit weapon or a ranged weapon. I always have a Slicer/Partisan, a Handgun and a Double Saber on a HU, but the one I could live without is the Double Saber. *shrug*

This game is very unpredicatbale. Though 1/34 isn't too bad for a 1/2 drop. Kafka is 1/40 for Redria Mil Demo Comets.

got my syncesta today too! ^_^ muhahaha after my 14th torr (not all in one day) i just made my lavis blades too, there are so rad!! although double cannon is much better! there both kool tho.
