[Hikara]

No, ladies and gentlemen, this is NOT a fanfic. This is an RPG in the making. This will also take the place of POL3.

This happens about 1 year after the great hunters defeat Olga Flow. A newer threat, identified only as the Greater Darkness, arises and begins to control the remaining D-Cells on the planet, thus creating a few more problems. It's up to a select few characters to get this done.

WHICH CHARACTERS (aside from Hikara) SHOULD BE USED!? PLEASE SUBMIT CHARACTER INFORMATION (found in the Character Bank).

I also need a few good artists (hopefully Kuda, Navi, and Lady Jade River as well as anyone else willing to help) to create character sets for them. If you are willing, but don't know what I need, I will PM you the location to find a Template.

At the very least, I need the pic of your character so I can submit it somewhere else for chipsets.

This cannot be done without you!

COSTUME COLORS: Blood red and black. He doesn't have the big bulky chestplate common of RAmars. Instead, he uses a much smaller plate, without the big collar that goes around his neck. Under the costume, he wears a bunch of red bandages all over his arms, legs and torso.

WEIGHT: 169 lbs.
WEAPON(S): A pair of Charger Mechguns.
RIGHT/LEFT HANDED: Right-handed.
ALIGNMENT: Neutral.
COMBAT SKILLS/SPECIALIZATIONS: Thinks quickly and is able to take smart initiatives. A bit better at techs than the standard RAmar but at the expense of power and aiming.
NON-COMBAT SKILLS: Fair with computers. Very down to earth and great at predicting the outcome of a situation. Good artist.
LIKES: Fighting, chewing gum, arguing.
DISLIKES: TV shows, authority, listening to orders and briefings.
FAVORITE FOODS: Kebbe Nayeh.
HOBBIES: Likes to draw in his idle time. His style is realistic, as he dislikes the cartoon and Anime styles.
HABITS/QUIRKS: Is always sweating profusely.
PERSONALITY: Hard-assed and always frank.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Vigore suffered a vicious defeat at the hand of a high-level Hunter before the CARD Revolution and still holds a grudge against that particular guy. He didn't join the Arkz, however, as he didn't see a point in the war between the two parties. However, he only waits for an opportunity to get revenge on his former foe.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Vigore is both hemophiliac and a self-regenerator. His wounds thus heal very slowly, and he is able to leak ungodly amounts of blood.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Sunny is actually an experimental CARD Monster to be used by the Arkz. However, when she was summoned, her master found out she wouldn't go back into CARD form if she died. Her master was killed in the fight, and Sunny thankfully survived. However, the death of her master caused her associated CARD to try to call her back. This didn't work, but due to this procedure, she lost all memory of the battle.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Sunny has a bunch of El Rappy wings on her back and arms.

It was here that he planned to start anew as an independant hunter, only taking orders from one person: Himself. He still retains his old title 'The Crimson Demon' due to the color of his plating, and how brutally he left the shape of his targets.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: In on the Exploration of Ragol for people to interact with, though she is VERY un-Hunter like at all.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Body - Her Ears appear to be flexable, in example they droop down more than usual when she is crying or down. And she's very Undeveloped for a 17 yr old. And is Notoriously Frail, It wont take much to get her to the ground, prehaps her thin frame and weight is to blame.
Mental - Like stated before, She's quite childish and is very hard to get serious. Prehaps a mental ilness or just enjoys the act.

Well, shucks, why didn't yeh say it was RPGMaker2003? I have some things that ca' help yeh wit' that!

One thing I can do is convert any MP3 or WMA file into WAV! The only problem is, songs can be too big (Two Towers Trailer Music= 56 MBs!) but I can compress them. But, got any soundeffects need converting?

I know a few lines of code as well. Like, for instance(I don't know if you figured this out in RPGMaker2003, since I have RPGM2k), I can make it so that it rains and there's flashing lighting effects! While characters are talking!

Anyways, I'm submiting some characters sometime today, or, if I feel like making a character set, sometime this weekend.

Thanks, everyone! This will be so awesome! Can I start handing out assignments...?

Yeah, Ziz, I've got that kind of coding. I've even got a day/night trigger that works, and a complete banking system (except Items. I have yet to figure that out...). I wouldn't mind, however, the converter. If you can, see if you can find PSO 3 music and get them converted to .wavs/midis. That would be much appreciated, as well as chipsets/backdrops for PSO.

@Scott- You can make the weapon sets if you'd like. That's up to you, as I know someone else who can if you can't. All I really need is the standards up to their fifth level (fourth in the way of Forces), and then 3/4 special weapons, so as to not make it too hard to make the weapons, and such.

@tingle- Want to help? I need your help to find out the list of frames/armors from frame to the highest they get without being rare. If you wouldn't mind, their prices (for just the white no slots) would be helpful! If you do not wish to, I can later.

She threw one card still left in her hand and the six around her shot out. After years of practice, she is able to throw cards with near perfect aim and with the Hitogata that encircle her, she can make the damage twice as bad by sending two cards instead of one.

Just after 3 day's he became one of Pioneer 2's most wanted, and decided it was time to leave. Him and his gang snuck onboard one of Pioneer 2's support Battleships and they took it over. They they became the Black Nova pirates and have done random raids on Pioneer 2 ever since.

Just a suggestion, though. Don't you think the face portraits should all be done by one artist if only to have some sort of uniformity? Or at least in a similar style. Then again, it could also look cool to have so many different styles and such.

There are two different versions for rpgmaker for the computer. The only problem is, you have to have the rpgmaker installed on your computer in order to play any rpgmaker games.

That is incorrect. You can play an RPG Maker game without installing RPG Maker yourself. However, the non-RPG Maker game file will be at least four times bigger, since it will include all the runtime package files, even those that are not used by the game. Nevertheless, the game won't run without them. If you do have RPG Maker installed, the game creator doesn't need to make a huge zip, since you already have a good part of the files.

When he saw the explosion on Ragol, he almost immediately signed up with the Hunter's Guild. Like many young men his age, they all wanted a piece of the action to try and get some sort of revenge on whatever unfair force had taken the lives of all those on the first Pioneer ship. Having slowly adjusted into his role as a hunter and the fact that there isn't anything left to do for Pioneer 1, Outrider begins to grow as a hunter. With each day he learns more about being a warrior, and has a growing sense of respect for Ragol.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Nobody's quite sure if Outrider is his real name or not. Many hunters have taken "code-names" of sorts, and it's quite possible that Outrider is just another one of these.


(Sure, Outrider would technically be involved in my fan fic at the time this game is supposed to happen, but whatever.)

I was thinking, if you were going to have a sidequest tournement in your game like Golden Sun and other games did. You can have the "meat" of this like most games have (one character only; restrictings on items; race through obstracles to get the best weapon; no healing all the way after battles) but you can have the little extra they added in Golden Sun too. In GS, the other party members where in the crowd and, before the race started, used their special powers to help the person in the tournaments.

Eh, just a idea I had. It seems like theirs so many tournaments in fan works and Ep.3, why not in your game?

That could work! That's actually a really cool idea.
Or maybe some/all of the characters could face their own personal challenges/absolve their pasts/something like that.
Imagine:Zi'Zuku suffers a horrible accident and is considered attractive, Rose finally realizes life isn't worth living and kills everything, Garanz kills ever Mk.1 to establish himself as the OG. and Hikara, the main character in all this? He finally CLEANS HIS ROOM!!!!!!!! or kisses a girl. He hasn't done either yet, so....*Hikara shoots up and charges toward Rose.* See the exciting conclusion of this tackle in next week's episode! Or later today. Whichever I feel like posting first.

UPDATE:

Thanks goes to Zzzzzz (and Skett, though he was a little late) for sending a tutorial for my new Hero Follow system, but it was slightly off due to its RM2K origin. I was up for 3 hours last night attempting to get the trigger to work, but I can now happily say it works. It will also work with any character in your party in any order due to some more fancy triggering that took my another 30 minutes.

So, the only thing I lack is the Character sets, the rest of the music, Futuristic Chip sets (for the Mines, Ruins, and Pioneer 2), and the monsters. After that, this thing should be up and running!

I went scouring for them, but couldn't find the prices for the standard weapons (level 1-5 for now special weapons.) Can you get them for me, please? (They're either not there, or I'm just too tired to actually see them.)

THIS JUST IN: I just managed to finish triggering a BEE Link system with the option to Access the P2 Database, access History Files, Contact current Client, contact Party, or contact Chief! I thought it was pretty nifty. ^_^

Alright, as Scott is kinda swamped with projects he's attempting to work on, as well as my sprites, I was wondering if there was anyone else who wanted to draw the monsters of PSO for me? These are pretty simple to do. You draw/color them, then send them. No special requirements, really. If there is, I can open them in Photoshop and edit them down. Please put your request here, unless Kuda gets mad and says
"I CAN TAKE CARE OF ALL OF IT, HIKARA!!" At that point... I'll leave it up to Scott. ^_^'

For anyone wanting to know JUST how swamped he is, not only is he doing character sprites, but he's doing my title, as well... ^_^
