Summit Moon Q - What's the diff between..?

What kind of cane you use?

So there I am, walking my Redria FOmar though Vhard Caves, and suddenly a freshly-killed Poison Lily drops a red box! "Oh joy," says I, "another photon drop. I wonder what I could have gotten if it was actually... a... magic rock 'Moola'???"

I didn't expect to get it (I kinda wanted a GOD/BODY from a rare lily), but now that I have it I'm wondering what the difference is between what kind of canes you use. Is there any? Does it come out with better stats? Higher ATP and ATA?

I've got a nice Hell Club with 40% Hit that I could use the rock on, but none of my Forces are even CLOSE to the necessary level. I'd have to give it to a buddy online or some such.

Here, on the PSO Weapon combination chart, it has this little table:

Forces only with at least 650 MST.
Cane +55 + at least LV100.
Stick +40 + at least LV110
Mace +25 + at least LV120.
Club +10 + at least LV130.



And I'm wondering what the difference is between the various types of weapon. Is it just that the higher-level ones have to be ground less, thus making it easier to upgrade it to the Summit Moon? Or does using the magic rock on, say, a Mace make the Summit Moon have a higher ATP than if I used it on a Cane?

i think the club would be most powerful & cane would be very weak

What type of cane you use only effects what level you have to be to make it, and how many grinders you need. All Summit Moons are the same (except percents).

Sorry, I'm stuck offline. Although that may change on may 15 (my birthday). I have 2 Summit Moons. One with 0/0/0/40/50, and one with 0/0/0/25/55. Made them both from clubs. My FOny is lvl 133. I'm sure you can get somebody online to help. But don't trust just anyone, there's nothing stopping them from just taking your summit moon.

The level differences between upgrading different types of weapons really only have an effect on melee weapon conversions. For the Rainbow Baton, you'll probably want to hold out for a Diska with good %s (because Diskas are more likely to have good %s than, say, Slicers), but if you're making a Summit Moon then you can go for changing a Cane while you're at level 100 and get pretty much the same benefits as if you'd get if you used a Club (unless you actually plan to beat someone with a cane-type).

....Of course, I dragged him away from a Ep. 3 tournament, but he didn't mind... too much.

I'm happy, though; the game that I created just to meet this guy ended up going through the Ult Mines and I got a holy ray for my FO.

The summit moon is okay, now that I've tried it out with my FOnewearl, but honestly I think I'd druther have a Sorcerer's Cane.

My level 77 FOnewearl is 'pwning' with it right now, actually. Man. 800 damage with a Foie? Two foies take down an offline Bartle? That's crazy!

I spent a month or 2 looking for one after finding a
Chaos Club 75% hit. Go through

3 god battles, 4 nar lilys, 3 double sabers, 4 grass assasin arms ,loadsa rare slicers and a Photon drop from a lily before it dropped for me at lv 129

Just in time for the Summit Moon making party.
