Well, I work and my family will be gone so I think we'll be celebrating early. Not sure when, but sometime this week (I'm thinking Thursday.)

Anyway, I got my mom the best Mother's Day card in the whole world. (My writing is in italics)

Outside:On Your Bar Mitzvah,
With pride in the young man you have become...

Inside:
With love for the very special person you will always be.
Mazel Tov!

Everybody knows it is the words inside that mean the most mother, not the original purpose of the card. Have a happy Mother's Day, love Jeff.

Actually, not many people know this, but "Mazel Tov" is an ancient Jewish curse used when one's goat has been stolen by a neighbor or in-law. You see, it begins--*Hikara pulls Rose aside, whispers in ear.*
I'm sorry, I've just been informed that my creative interpretation of Jewish history is, for some reason, unacceptable to the general public.
Anyway, awesome and funny idea for the card. Wish I could say I was doing anything....well, I could, but I'd be lying, and I've already used up all my lie points today. Maybe tomorrow.

anywho, i got nothin planned, as usual. i wont even be home till later this week cause of finals. ill probably just get her a card or a gift or something. cause by now shes use to the fact that i dont plan anything, and shes already planned some sort of dinner at some fancy resturant. ill most likely have to get dressed up in some nice gettup(which i hate) and have a conversation with her. im already dreading sunday.

nothing for mom. haven't lived with my parents since i was 7 and lived on my own. plus she lives all the way on the other side of the world and i only see her once a year anyhow.

well, all that and the fact that our mother's day is in december. not that she would care either. so it's all good!
